Never tracked my car but I put down the same numbers there about. My 04 Z06 has a line lock, Built Rear,Built Tranny so I will be shooting for low 10's when it's complete.

Supercharger or nitrous? I think clemson Dave has gone low 10's with his stock short and procharger. His power is around 600-620rwhp if I remember correctly.

Actually I went faster than that, I ran a 10.45@136+ that same year-that was my first pass driving to the track and I quickly got booted.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/S...D1SC_80563.htm

BUT, Mike Murillo has one 9's with a stock short and nitrous and RobZ has gone 9's on the stock short N/A.

As far as Canadian's go I'm the fastest on the stock short(10.45@136+), fastest with a 347(9.6@146), fastest stock (11.65@117.75), And currently the fastest street driven C5(9.25@150).

Not until you rip off a 9 second pass at over 150+MPH rowing gears in that beast of yours.

Yep, whats really cool is clemsondave running a bone stock LS6 with a P1, and going 10.19. He just stepped up to D1 and probably going to improve at his MIR track rental Nov 6.

Details
60': 1.44
1/8: 6.54@107.27
1/4: 10.19@135.92

I did 10.27 with bone stock LS6. Not really sure of the power at the time, around 700rwhp. Shortly after that, snapped the tranny mainshaft and converted to auto.

60': 1.601
1/8: 6.744@107.76
1/4: 10.279@142.21

Thanks Chris. I actually ran a 10.12 @ 136 early in the year, but didn't get a video. Here's the 10.19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLMkakOhL1c

100% stock longblock, stock trans, stock diff (hardened output shafts), stock suspension.

Hoping to hit 9s in a few weeks at our vette rental. That's if I remember how to drive; only been to the track twice this year.

If anyone on the east coast hasn't heard about our rental, you gotta come! Should be several records broken. We had to start a new thread because the old one got too big. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/perf...rnie-king.html

Thanks but the 1.44 short goes with 10.19 from clemsondave. My run is the 1.60 and 10.27. I was still learning and had some mistakes looking at the video. 6 speeds are a tricky game!

You guys got it going on! I think the only way I could drive my car like that is if I had an unconditional warranty on all of the parts.

That s some BadAss Numbers Arun! I have a question about Robz's "9's on stock short N/A". That means- Stock rotating assembly with an upgraded Camshaft, heads etc.? (stock crankshaft, rods, pistons) Thanks!

Actually, my passes are very smooth. There is nothing violent about them at all. Watch the video. I also do not want to risk breaking stuff. No dumping the clutch.

N/A means normally aspirated, i.e. no supercharger, nitrous, turbo. It's a 388ci high RPM monster.

It's difficult to tell from watching the video. I actually watched it a few times. I may watch it a few more. It's difficult for me to launch this triple disc clutch of mine. It feels more like an on off switch with very little in the middle. I need some schooling oh great one. And more seat time.

I know what N/A means. My question was -What does stock short mean, exactly? (as Arun said) Is it ONLY the crankshaft/rods? Or does that mean stock camshaft too? I think when i tried to clarify what i meant, it made what i asked more confusing. Thanks!
