Taylor at Dallas Performance powder coated a Novi 2000 and had no issues with it.

I had this idea a while back, novi 2000 in black powdercoat! If Taylor or anyone has any pics I would love to see them

Would polishing the sc have an effect on heat dissipation?

that is what I would worry about powder coating a S/C.. it may hold some heat in.

I always have ppl say, " you should paint your intercooler black, so no one can see it."

Well if I did that it would start holding heat and not serve the purpose.

Ive had customers paint, annodize, powdercoat, spraypaint (serious) the superchargers. Most of them were show cars, so heat didn't matter.

I would do a black annodize instead. This way you dont have any heat retention, yet it also looks cool as he!!

We had a few paxton blowers anodized black for a "special" customer. They came out looking pretty good.

Anodizing vs powdercoating seems like the way to go. Steve you have pics of those black paxtons?
