The first time I changed my oil on my head unit it was a mess. I've read somewhere on this forum that you can suction the fluid out from the top.

Yes indeed, you can suck it right out of the top just like you would change the engine oil in an marine engine. Bob

My kit came with a braided metal extension hose for the drain that has a drain plug on it. The kit also came with a syringe for filling it. No mess!

If you don't have these you could probably order them from ATI.

We do offer a drain line kit.

The part number is 3PCOL-002 and the price is $49.95

Here is a picture of what all comes with the kit.

I bought a syringe for the auto motive section of Wal-mart and some very small tubing 1/8 inch IIRC and heated it up to expand over the tip of the syringe and when the charger is cool take the plug out and suck out the oil. I also use it to fill be removing the plunger and pouring the oil into the tub and it fills it up no mess! this kit looks nice too

A large catch pan (For Spill over) under the Vette, a faily good sized funnel with a rubber tube attached going into the catch pan. Uncork the plug and let her drain into the funnel.

You can use a socket on an extension and once it is loose get ready ready to catch it! (kinda like the oil drain plug, you always get some on your hand )

Completely drain and re-fill with 6 oz of ProCharger fluid

Thanks,Matt

Out of the top is ok, for a few oil changes, but I suggest after every 3rd oil change you pull the drain plug off just to get and sediment off of the magnet on the plug. Keeping the sediment out will ensure long life for the oil seals

For the love of God do it this way.

SO easy and clean.

AFTER you're done then pull the plug, then refill.

How many ounces does that procharger braided line hold tho, that will need to be factored in.

It holds less than .25 of an ounce of oil.

No factoring necessary.

Do what I did...

Use the pump from your ***** enlarger (that never worked anyway) and pump it out.

oh, works great for bleeding brakes & clutch too.
