Anyone know if the TVS 1900 top will bolt to the bottom half of a MP 112? I'm looking at the schematics and everything is exactly the same. Same bolt pattern, same gasket, etc.. The belt placement even seems to be right on. Has anyone tried this yet?

Youre lookin at one,
kinda makes you wonder why Magnuson didn't just offer a swap for the 112's, yes the bolt pattern of the 112 is the same as the tvs1900.

You will need to
lower the fuel rails for shorty 60# injectors
cut down a jack shaft, they don't make the right length.
align the idler pulley
make room for the fuel regulator
make the air bridge.
do a little plumbing and viola.

112 or a 122 Maggie is more than enough to blow up a stock LS6.

If your going to build a forged motor, most people would build a LS2/3 with LS3 heads. This will make the available TVS kits work.

I don't see any functional reason why you would need a TVS on a generally stock LS6.

"I don't see any functional reason why you would need a TVS on a generally stock LS6."

More brilliance Tony, just incredible wisdom

How much faster did Bill go for building his short block than he
did with his stock one?...sounds like money down the drain to me...

The TVS will make more power than a 112 or the 122 Maggie.

Just because Bill hasn't maximized his setup, doesn't mean the TVS can't.

Your infrence that it doesn't, is just displaying your 'brilliance' or lack there of.
You need to spend more time doing research than posting sarcasm on this forum.

And btw, your last race you got smashed by a Maggie, so I wouldn't be yappin' Mr. 200rwhp.

There are none so blind as those who will not see!

After the swap (sold the old parts) the extra 100 HP cost $1500.00.

I think your drain is Plugged.

Glad you guys are having fun, let me get this straight...you can beat
Funcool by what 6-7 cars, and you make less power and torque than me everywhere? by almost 100 ft lbs of torque and 80 rwhp, too bad neither of you guys would race me when I had a tire on my car, or Rob, or Bobby...
You both had your chance for what 2 months ?
Maybe next year Rob, Bobby and I will all put bald drag radials back on our cars, just for the both of you, because your "SPECIAL".,and we can call it the bald drag radial class
Maybe you guys can host an event on the series 40 raceway
because you are just too fast for TMP.
Are you willing to put your money where your mouth is next year? or are you just flapping your lips again like Jenny J again. I am sure Arun cant wait to Tune your car. Maybe you can share with us why your LS7 heads are so great, and why you are down on power so much....I am sure Arun cant wait for you to school him on your heads. LOL

You don't worry about me and Tony's races. All you should be thinking about is how much I smash you, like every time!!!!

Well if Vinny goes 10.4's (760rwh) and I smash him 6 to 7 cars, then my car makes 850rwh and will run 9's easy with 42lbs inj.

All you should be worried about is why Funcool with a little Maggie that can barely make 600rwhp consistently can smash you every time you line up with him.
Next time if you ask someone to race, make sure you have enough power to spin your tires, this way at least you have an excuse if you loose.
I was 20ft behind you.
You were not spinning. It's funny how you can race Funcool every time, and keep on getting your a$$ handed to you on a plate, and you still yap. But maybe with your new-found 200rwhp (I still only see 90rwhp on your dyno btw) you'll only lose by a couple of cars instead of a zip code like last time.

Guess it's comforting for you to go to the track. This way you can't loose when you race a clock.

But then again, it was you flashing $300 bucks in front of half a dozen of us trying to entice Funcool to a race that night.
Next time, as Funcool showed you painfully well, keep your money in your pocket for mods!

Hey Tony, just think, if you brought your 402 somewhere where they knew what they were doing, you may also be making close to 900 rear wheel, instead of spending 12 grand on a motor that your scared to use...you could bring it to Champions, and spend another 4-5 grand and compete, and lay claim that you finally spent some money wisely...then you could part out your 427 and only lose 50 grand on it. Then you could also grow a set of balls and pull beside at Cayuga...we could all be Novi Brothers and live happily ever after.
