403 Lingenfelter APS TT Build at Leading edge...

Being that the first forged motor drank oil at a rate of 1 quart per mile, then the 2nd motor breaks a spring (Did you ever find out why 918's were installed in the first place?), now your onto your 3rd. (Not including grenading your stock motor)
3rd time is ALWAYS a charm. It should work out exactly the way you "Originally" had hoped for. Its just to bad you had to pay the money a few times to get it right..
There are a few of us that feel your pain AND frustration..
I'll be rooting for you.

Modifying cars is fun when you're not smacking your head into a brick wall with all kinds of problems.
Hope it all comes together for you this time. Looks like you're in good hands with Lingenfelter short block and LEP.

Yeah, it really sucks to spend so much time and money doing things over and over again.

I follow one of the famous car modification rules:
"Never Add up the cost"... \
Hows your beast coming along?
I have been following your project for sometime, can't wait to see what top speed she hits

It's still up at the body shop. Talked to Kerry the other day as he was running off to Walkins Glen for the weekend.
I'm in no rush, still have the bro's 99 FRC up on the lift in pieces to clean up before I can get mine back in the garage.
Hopefully, I be able to get some more pictures soon.
Looks like you'll be making some big number with the combo you're pulling together.

You need to fix the inlet issue first thing!! I think your going to find out that the turbos in that kit will not be enough for a 402. I have been running a 347 and with the turbos maxed it puts out around 900rwh.
You may want to go with the gt35 upgrade, so you can maintain high boost levels, if thats what your trying to achieve.
Deff get a double timing chain... thats pretty standard.
Good luck!!!
