Default rookie N02 question

Can a nitrous system be installed and used sucessfully in a car with a manual tranny? I was told a long time ago that the systems were originally designed for automatics?

Window Switch reads a tach signal, and providing the WOT switch is activated (either a mechanical switch or an electronic WOT switch) it will only fire the Nitrous between the RPM's you select, generally say 3000 RPM to 6000 RPM.
