Woot!!!

Well, I finally pulled the trigger, emptied my bank account, and sent Dalton at PTS a check for their base C5 TT system.

Here's what I got:

1. Base kit w/ TE44 turbos. Jose recommended these. Stock bottom end (am I the first to attempt this with the PTK?)

2. SwainTech White Lightning coating

3. 2000* black coating on exhaust housings

3. Polished compressor covers

4. E-Boost 2

5. Cold piping and all accessories in silver.

Thanks to Dalton and Jose for putting up with me and all of my questions. You guys have been a real help.

Can I also get a show of hands for all the PTKer's in here?
Nick, Kevin, Arnel.....who else?

Ok, that's all I really wanted to say. The 2 month wait is going to drive me nuts.

Congrats....no doubt you got one of the best TT kits with tons more potential then most of our kits have even shown (design perspective). There are some interesting top mount reverse full collector header designs over on the other board too.

Plus you get to see it when you pop the hood....I won a car show with my dirty car and a raised hood. Plus a mag article and many other inquiries.

You won't be dissappointed.

Lets us know if you have any questions.

Not a PTK/PTS owner but congrats.. you have so much room to grow.

I'd start hitting Nick up for left overs. That would be upgrading on a budget.

That's very cool man..

Your gonna love it. We've all learned alot from our setup so be sure to take in all the good info. It'll make for a troublefree, durable setup.

I totally agree with Kevin that your gonna love bein able to kick *** behind the wheel and when parked with the hood open.

Thanks for the props guys. I going nuts over here waiting. Ah well, winter sucks in Ohio anyways.

Nick, what'd you mean by the Swaintech comment? The invoice said I'm getting the headers and downpipes coated. Also, I do plan on getting a Shinobi Stinger hood. I'm going to hold off til income tax time though. My poor college *** is about out of money. I've still got a Tex. dual clutch, DTE brace, output shafts, pod and gauges, as well as fuel system and tires to buy.

Not 100% sure on the C5 but it's worth calling them since they're now turning out turnkey systems.

Hershel in New Jersey sells some High Temp 1800* paint. I love the swaintech..but the stock color is a very pourous white couting...like ceramic/sand paper...gritty. It is resistant to solvents and won't wear off but it is permeable and if you even touch it with a dirty glove/hands or even spill oil on it..the coating will leave a stain.

I noticed this back when I had my Stainless Works headers Swaintech coated with my other setup. Great stuff...that is the only draw back.

Anyway Hershel sells 4 different color high temp paints. I used the cast iron color. As soon as I can get my website to upload some pics I will have some pics availabe. I think there is some pics of the colored swaintech on my website...click the link.

When you want a hood let me know and I can set it up with ACP for you. There are about 10 of them out there and most have been very pleased.

Thanks Arnel, your car is looking awesome!!!

I put about 8000 miles on the car since I installed the engine, trans, rearend, turbo's etc... I have had no problems besides getting traction I know you guys are gonna laugh but I still have the runflats. I have the Blitz's controller set to 8psi and that's pretty much where it stays. I think Phil and I ran it up to 12psi but it was starving for fuel. So I need advice from you guys for my fuel upgrade I have a LPE 255 and a K.B. BAP the car is a 98 so I do have the return line. I don't want to spend the $1,800. for a totally new system? But I would like to get in the 700-800 HP range? Let me know dude what you have for your fuel system? You to Nick, by the way you are really sick or should I say insane

Oh yea, what is a "Shinobi'sZ hood"? and how is your car doing???
