That was an asinine comment. He is a great guy. He's president of a national Chevelle enthusiast's club and a Vietnam veteran (helicopter pilot) to mention a few things. I don't know him personally but I run into him at the local Sonic cruise in on Saturday nights and he's the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. The young guy is okay but the other guy is basically a TV reporter (I've seen him on several "discovery channel" type shows like Tennessee Crossroads) doing all sorts of non-car related stuff. Chuck has forgotten more about cars than either one of those two guys put together even know. He recently had a tragedy in his family where his 20-something year old son commited suicide. I could go on and like I said - I don't even know him that well. I do know this - that you definitely don't know anything about what you're saying dude...

Why don't you Google him (Chuck Hansen Chevelle) and see what others have to say about him.

I met Chuck at a local show a couple of years ago, and he's a genuine car guy, not just a TV face. You young punks need to think a little before recording your asinine comments.

All of that is probably true! It is VERY unfortunate to hear about the los of his son! Thanks to him for serving this great country we live in, cheers to him for being an avid Chevelle enthusiast!! BUT...he is the only reason I quit watching that show, I could NOT stand his corky TV antics! I was just stating my opinioin, sorry you guys took it personally!
Back on track, I'm interested in watching and seeing the results.

Chuck was probably just doing what they asked him to do. The other TV guy is not car smart, and is the one that anoys me.
Obviously Joe's not that bright, look at his project car, a 4.6L Mustang GT

Chuck knows more about cars than a majority of the people on this site, so I could see why some would be jealous.

Like them or not, those guys are just doing their jobs and probably having a good time doing it. Kind of s*cks that Chuck isn't on there anymore. I'm not around much during the Summer months so I don't get to watch to much but I usually catch the show the rest of the year. Some shows you get to know by the people on the screen. Without them, the show isn't the same. I liked how him and Joe interacted. Plus it's always good to see things like a complete turbo kit installed in 30 minutes or less and nobody gets dirty. I often wish they were with me when I'm spending 30 minutes just trying to get a damn bolt out!

I watched last night. To bad the driver's side fuel rail cover doesn't come off as easy as it did on the show!

That's not saying much. I'm surprised some of those cars even run after they work on them.

I don't think they actually do the work themselves, they are just front men for the TV show. It's good to have anything on TV about cars so I watch it when I can and I'm not knocking it but the thing you have to remember about that show is that, while it appears that they are a TV show about cars and horsepower, mainly they are just a big info-mercial for any sponsor that wants to get there product out to the general public.
