Default G-Z06's 408TT (908rwhp @ 15lbs)

Just got word that Garett (G-Z06) dyno'ed 908rwhp @ 15lbs of boost with the STS kit.

The Graph looks great!

300rwhp from 4-5k rpm!

He is planning on running 18 - 20lbs along with his NX 150 Wet Kit.

Pics of his finished paint job that we did.

Regards

*I am posting this for him because he was banned from the forum he wanted to keep you guys updated*

Nice lookin' ride. Lots of power too!

How does the torque curve feel? You can see the "sts effect" a little bit there, but who really needs 700rwtq at 2000rpm anyway

I remember when my car was that low. I looked awesome, but I got tired of hitting the bottom of my car on speed bumps, etc.. Now mine sites almost 2 inches off the tire.

Imho the only thing nicer than seeing a Y-body with alot of power........
is a Y-body owner not afraid to go to the drag strip to actually see what the car does. Also glad to hear the small "break" he had didn't deter him from going back out to the track.

Awesome car btw.

I was there the whole build, The motor is a 408 Iron block built by MTI. The heads are ls6 casting ported by Greg Good they flow 35X cfm at .600. The car has a Victor JR intake manifold, I think the cam is MTI's G1 but I am not 100% sure. This is the stock sts kit with upgrade 60-1 turbos, The fuel system is a racetronix with a boost-a-pump with 60 pound injectors. (and some people only think this fuel system cant handle more 600RWHP LOL) The clutch is a spec 5 and the tranny was completly built as was the rear end. The motor, fuel system, turbo kit, clutch, boost controler and everything was installed in 2 days by Chris E. at MTI In order so Garret could make Z06 Fest. Which is crazy fast to have every part sitting on the ground and a empy car and in 48 hours have it on the dyno.

60lb injectors and racetronix w/ Boost-a-pump supporting 900+rwhp. This exactly the kind of bs posts that gets people in trouble. THERE IS NO F#CKING WAY THAT 60LB injectors, unless you have 15 of them, or a racetronix with a boost-a-pump can support 900rw or 1150fwhp without some sort of fuel supplemenation. Most people who know better will likely just sit back and not say anything and know that either you have no clue or the dyno numbers are bs. Rather than call the car or the builders on this, we'll just have to say that you are misinformed.

You can call BS, but I was there when they installed the pump, installed the meth and dynoed the car. You can call MTI or hell if you want you can call the guy who built the car if you pm me I will give you his cell phone number. I think its funny how cajundude did 8XX rwhp and no one called bs and now Garret does 9XX rwhp and its impossible.

Earl - you're going to have to eat your hat when he comes back with a 160 MPH time slip.

How did Peter pan and mikes99corvette run ?
