MTI has been making magic with the racetronix + kenne bell boost a pump for some time now. I dont know what their secret is but I havent seen any other tuner achieve the numbers they have with this setup. My car maxed out around 650rwhp with that fuel setup.

I know better than to call BS though. I've seen a couple other MTI cars making 700rwhp with that fuel setup.

We've seen cars put on Weldon race pumps just to get a big dyno sheet. We know that the numbers you're talking about aren't going to be achieved with the fuel system you described.

Please don't think either we're speaking ill of that guys setup - we're just saying those dyno #'s are total bull.
I don't think they are BS at all. Go look at some real data instead of just going on what you have heard.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1332134

The # say the pump can support 964 fwhp with a bap. Add meth and I don't see any problems making these #s on a fresh healthy pump with cool fuel.

Now, I'm not sure what will happen after extended use.

The car is impressive (408 with an sts is a nice setup), but I still don't think it will do that great at the track without the n20. With the n20 it would be crazy.

Strong opinion - care to back it up? Buy a plane ticket to Houston, look over the car, check the dyno and watch the a/f ratio as we dyno it - you can have free and total access to everything.

If the car has the fuel system that we say it does, it's tuned and dialed in correctly and makes the power? Your plane ticket is on you, you buy everyone here at the shop dinner (our choice of restaurant) and you post a public apology here.

If there are any dyno tricks, a different fuel system or any other BS that you might find? I'll buy your plane ticket personally, give you $500.00 for your time and post whatever retraction you'd like me to post here.

In short, you're being called upon to back up your statements - are you prepared to do that?

Dont let him bother you. He just likes to run his mouth w/o backing it up. Other than the TTi guys, I dont think anyone listens to anything he says.

It's not that it bothers me - I'm just giving him an opportunity to either prove or disprove what he's saying - a man with his level of confidence should have no problem at all accepting our offer.

I'll even pick him up at the airport.

How about picking him up at the airport in the car in question, and if it blows up before making it back to the shop he wins.

I know Garret, and have met David. Neither one of those guys have any reason what so ever to lie about what the car has, or what it makes on the dyno. Garret is a car guy like everyone else here who posts dynos, time slips, etc

Thank you for the offer, but I think I'll sit back and wait for the 160 MPH time slip.

I am going to chime in here, at what looks to be a risk severe personal harm, and say that I don't question the numbers, I do question the fuel system. I think most, with any experience, would agree that it is marginal at best for 900+rwhp. Given the high volume of Racetronix failures and the decrease "hot" flow that some guys are seeing, there is no way that I would use the system in a 900+rwhp car. A lot of guys point to "tuning" as if it is some sort of magic dust that only a few tuners have access to. A tuner cant' make mechanical parts do what they are not designed to...well not for very long anyway.

I think the purpose of this board is to inform and to look out for fellow vette owners. In that light, why not take the $1,500 and put it into an escrow account and offer the owner of the car an unconditional guarantee that you'll cover the cost of motor rebuild and upgraded fuel system if his motor dies due to fuel starvation. That way no one has to lose face and everyone is happy.

Most people who know better will likely just sit back and not say anything and know that either you have no clue or the dyno numbers are bs. Rather than call the car or the builders on this, we'll just have to say that you are misinformed.
Earl, maybe it has 16 alky injectors.

Wasn't the older version much easier to fudge?

You've questioned the numbers, I've told you what we're willing to do.

You declined my offer for some reason. If you decide to get away from the keyboard for a day and come down to Houston, shoot me a PM and let me know when your flight's landing.

Until then, have a wonderful day.

If I need to update the software, then I will. Period. I'll call them this afternoon.

The bottom line here is that we're getting questioned on a public forum, I'm stepping up to the plate ..... where's everyone who has the doubts?

I can be at the airport in 45 minutes! Hobby or Intercontinetal?
