Default What does 1000lbs of Torque look like on a Kenne Bell 402???? PICS INSIDE....

Ok Ok Ok, I admit its flywheel torque, but who fuggin cares..
Based on our calculations, we are right over 1000 pound feet of torque and just shy of 1000 flywheel HP, NOT taking into consideration of S/C parasitic losses.. This is out of a 402!!!!!!!!

Eat your heart out....

Did I mention that this car passed the sniffer test with flying colors?????
Thats right... A 851rwtq and 801rwhp car passed the local smog machine.

This would NOT have been possible if it wasnt for all of this forums support (And critiscism). Not to mention the hundreds of hours worth of R&D and advise from Jim Bell, Ken Christley, Rick from Synergy, Phil (Roadrebel), and Earl H (For telling me it wasnt possible)

These are the final results. We will NOT be taking her ANY further. This was at 16psi, 91, meth, and 21* of timing.

We did make an 18psi run but it was shut down at 4K rpms. Why??? Not because the motor or S/C was having problems, but because they felt it was better to quite while ahead ..... If I remember the conversation correctly, they said it was right around 875rwtq and climbing when they shut it down.

I salute all of you guys.....

BTW, get a look at that intake tube they made for me..... This is now part of their upgraded stroker kit. This was compliments of Rick's (Synergy Motorsports) design. They felt it flowed sooooo well that they decided to make it part of their kit.

That is NICE work from Rick. Looks awesome. I did not dig that goofy looking angled setup. This looks sweet.

Btw, Im in Pakistan right now, tearing up the streets in a 1.5 liter corolla. I think the throttle is broken or something, it makes noise, but no power.

Over 700 rwtq at 2,000 rpm! You're definitely going to need slicks now.

Congratulations on your badazzz ride!! Now get on the road and enjoy that "Emissions Compliant Muscle Machine". Some vids of the car on the street rapping out some "R"s would be nice.

That's what I've been saying about roots type blowers.
Instant, linear and a flat torque curve.
No lag to be found ANYWHERE.
It's average HP & torque that will get your time, not a peaky number.
And keeping the HP high even up to 7G's!
You'd be an idiot to prefer a TT power curve over this sublime example of true power.

You must be calculating it differently. If the motor makes 850 AFTER a 15% loss, then you would not add 15% of 850 to it. You would add 15% of 1000 to it. Because the drivetrain eats up 15% of the 1000..

I'm all confused now... Ahhhh, who cares anyways.. I surpassed everything I could possibly imagine anyways.
I'm gonna turn it down to around 720rwhp. This way I can run the larger pulley and make it as solid and reliable as it can get.
