950 RWHP C6 goes to track
Yesterday we took Pete's single turbo C6 to the track, I was happy to see the results on a nitto drag radials. He's got an innovative boost controller in the car which is set per gear, first gear had 2 lbs second gear had 5 lbs, third gear had 10 lbs and fourth gear at 15 lbs. We were happy with the results trying to get an everyday street driven corvette to work well without a drag pack or slicks.
It was the first time at the track and the car went 10:80s @147MPH. That's some pretty good MPH. I would love to see this car in the 9s on a drag radial that would be impressive in my book. Wow.
Time slip. Video will be posted soon.

That's quick a time for any street driven car.
That's pretty neat to have a progressive boost limiter. Would like to know more about the boost controller and where to buy one.

Nice first pass, it would be interesting to see how much MPH it loses with a slick. If you can shave alittle over a second on the first 1/2 of the track and run it out the backdoor you'll be fine.

I noticed in your post are all negative comments, by the way if you know anything about Turbos or Cars in that fact This is a T101 Turbonetics and at 15 lbs Boost we are just tickling it. Can't wait to go out to the track for the second time.
And about it loosing MPH with a slick; You must be smoking some real good stuff right now, Buddy! Feel free to bring the best daily driven street corvettes you've built so we can line 'em up!
BTW We are interested of who you are; what do you do? What makes you so knowledgeable about this field? I guess our other Turbo car that ran 8:40 @178; would have a much quicker MPH. In your world? would that be a 250MPH Plus on a Nitto?

Or is a T101 a 106mm turbine wheel?

Sorry......but I too am wondering why you think a 10.8 is impressive for a supposedly 950rwhp car.....
And why you're posting in the C5 section too......

I think the post was about highlighting potential.

My guess is that it was posted here because the C6 FI section doesn't have much traffic yet.

- 6 speed
- Nitto Drag radials
- Pump gas
- And very hot conditions
- 15 lbs boost
We thought the ET was impressive for the first time out. WoW! Lots of haters here.
Now how fast do you go on a Nitto or a Drag radials?

I don't think it's haters - just people doing what we do best - picking apart posts. The car obviously didn't have even close to 950 rwhp in the condition it was run.
The MPH is pretty decent, and I'll give you credit for even getting in the 10's on DR's with big power, but that has certainly been done many times before.
The question is how you plan to run better ET's or MPH's if you don't want to put on the tires a combo like that deserve?

I have had enough of the smack talk. Bill has built me two very impressive cars and he deserves the credit. If you think you have better bring it on. Anytime, 6 speed, drag radials and pump gas whatever kind of vette you want as long it is a 6 speed car on nitto's and pump gas. Put your money where your mouth is.
Also if you do the math or bother to find out a thumper 101 mil is barely working at 15lbs of boost if we were to put a tire on the car and turn it up then what? I know part's would break but we would get some pretty crazy times out of this car and mph would not decrease with more boost it would increase.
I won't even talk about the other turbo car cause that one is much too fast. It ran 8.40's in the 170's with an independent rear now it has a fab 9.
What are your accomplishment's please post them.
BTW the drag radials in question were Nitto's 305 35 18 as the car is driven every day on the street NOT a big sidewall 15" drag radial (BFG or M/T) which might as well be a slick.

Don't waste your times with these turkeys. They don't know jack about thumper turbo. And they all seems to the experts on turbo cars.
As you say, bring them on put their money where their big mouths is. 6 speed car, pump gas, and nitto tires only.

I have herd alot about your cars and I am very impressed. I was hoping to run up against your C4 last year at ASC events but Ned never managed to get you out there. My C5 is now a single turbo with a solid axle and I would love to get some grudge racing going.
Why don't you guys come to englishtown for some PRO 8 action.
