Default LS2 402 Blower Motor With PSC-1

Like to find if anyone is running a LS2 402 Blower motor with PSC-1. If so what are your dyno numbers and are you still using 6 rib system. My system is from A& A so I have his wrap around bracket. Can't affors a D1 and 8 rib systm yet so I'm going to use my PSC-1 and Andy's bracket on my new LS2 forged 402 (LQ9 heads) at 10-11 lbs which will probably be reduced to 6-8 with new engine due to less restriction. I will be running a 3.65 pulley. I'm hoping to pull about 630-650 RWHP with about 580-600 RWT. Stock LS1 (with alky injection) today with same set up is getting me 520 RWHP with 488 RWT.

It's definitely not the most efficient set-up, but I am running the standard ATI kit (with the smaller twin intercoolers) on my new 402 LS2 motor. The head unit is a lowly P1SC. My dyno numbers are 602 rwhp and 568 rwt (through an A4). There's more available if I were to switch to a single FMIC and upgrade to a D1SC, but I am not sure I want to spend the money at this point. Maybe it will be a winter project...but I am saving up for a C6.

Best of luck!

I have a P1 on a 427 and make about 7-9 PSI that drops off up top. Through an A4 3500stall i make about 660rwhp this is from a 346 p1 same pulley making 525rwhp. Oh yah this is a 6 rib A&A bracket. I agree not very effiecent, the D1 is a better choice.

Thanks. I would love to, but it's a busy weekend with the Legendary Motor Car Show on Saturday and World Cup on Sunday. Keep me in mind the next time you guys hit the track!

You should be able to get some very good numbers from this setup. I have a lowly 346 forged, and the given up to the scrap heap A&A DS1C with a 3.85 pulley and I see 12-14 lbs and with ECS Alky I was able to pull a little ole 742 rwhp/655 rwtq and I keep being told to go TT's as they are the rage (but when I built my car last year even the new A&A Vortex/ECS Paxton kits were not even on the market no less a affordable Sick HP TT setup), oh I bought my blower used. You can get good numbers out of the setup if tuned properly

Keep your eye open for a DS1C/F1R head unit as with your forged setup you have a monster of potential on your hands, just think what my DS1C would pull on your 402

Definitely doable. Mine's at 545/480 with an ECS P1-SC setup on a LS1 with stock internals. It could be doing a lot more, but that's as far as I'm willing to push the internals.
