Oil temps on the other hand are higher than normal. Frwy cruising they settle in at 230-239. When under heavier loads 250-255, so far. I'm about to install the new Dewitts combination EOC/radiator. I've heard they are good for 20 degrees cooler on average oil temps, which should be just fine for my purposes. I've also read that there is a small oil pressure drop associated with this setup. With my current pressures, I believe this will not be an issue and leave the pressure range within normal paramaters. After the install and some drive time in various weather conditions I'll get back to you.

Just got A&A's S trim & a 402. Bringing it home to San Diego today through all the lovely L.A. traffic at about 3:00pm, my oil temps were runnig 230-235 with water 199-207 highest. For my own education what temps would be considered as getting to hot?
How do you guys in the L.A. area cope with that mess??

I am picking up my B&M Racing tranny pan for installation this week on my new RPM Level 4 tranny.
Also my new tranny cooler will be a Maggie heat exchanger. It will have twice the cooling surface area of my Setrab cooler. Plus it is a two pass cooler. Andy is very confident this will kick *** cooling my new tranny.
I hope I don't melt this one too ........

You actually made me run into the computer room to check out if the company computer rack shelves would work. They just might!!!
HP: the stock airdams I don't use (and yes that's not helping) and the bigmouths would just work better.
VR: modifications? alky's working again buddy.. must go on a drive!!

My car goes into the shop in a week for a few new things... hopefully when I get it back, it will work much better than before.
