Default Kenne Bell coming soon

http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...r-selector.htm

The coming soon tag has been on their site forever, and yet they have nothing, no information on a release date, no pricing, nothing.

What is the problem?

Maybe you should change the name of this thread to "Kenne Bell NOT coming soon".

I think one of the tuners closest to this project has not even got word yet on the arrival. I guess we will have to just wait and see. Great company though..no doubt.

I stand by my earlier prediction that they will have a production unit within the next eighteen months.

I am pretty much in the loop on this one.
I talk to Jim Bell regularly and have helped ( a little) on the project.
They have borrowed a few parts from me for testing etc.
There are only 2 units up and running. One in a C5 and the other is on an LS1 in a 59 Chevy. ( I'm probably wrong about the year)
While March 06 MIGHT be a safe bet, there is definately no timeframe that has been given to dealers yet.
Jim has promised I'll be the first to get units but I definately don't have a date in mind.
There were some problems with the casting that had to be redone, among other things. Tuning has been another issue.
I'm not bringing this up until I have them on my shelf.

History and Time will tell the tale. Kenne Bell has been getting advice from a quite a number of shops & owners on the LS Corvette series motors, since if recollect correctly all the way back, to mid 2002.

And I heard something very similar directly from another major forum vendor - which is why I stopped hopelessly waiting and went with the ECS Paxton kit.

Since he's new to the LSx engines, I assumed it was probably a tuning issue since he's making an entire kit. Too bad about the casting problem since that's not an easy issue to fix quickly. I still think it will be a great F/I option for those that want something more than a maggie or centrifugal, but don't want to go as far as a $turbo$ system.

Thanks for the update.

I can tell you Kenne Bell has been putting out kits for LS truck motors for quite a while.

Two, I have owned eight twin screw blowers for big 502 cid apps..

Three, Rudy, who had the first donor C5 and since has sold it to Kenne Bell, never once mentioned any specific tuner. KB is very familar with LS motors. I spoke to Rudy the phone, for a total of about four hours, on five occasions and still have his cell phone number. Be curious to see what he has to say.

Four, I called KB a number of times all the way back to 2002. Like I said remains to be seen if/when it goes to production. I think we can all agree on that.

Brent
