Yeah, I know, you guys don't even want to read my posts any more 'cause it's the same crap over and over again. Going quicker every time out
Well, I'm gonna torture you anyway! Went to Atco last night and set another new best and put the C5/Z06 record deeper into the 8s. I made 5 passes all in the 8s. The track was good early in the day but there were too many street tire cars tearing up the track so, by the end of the night, traction was getting harder to come by. Not to mention the dew began to form around 9 PM.
My passes were as follows: 8.931 @ 154.88, 8.806 @ 155.19, 8.785 @ 155.27, 8.825 @ 154.94 and last pass 8.762 @ 153.32
First time I trapped over 155 mph. This car is an animal. There's a slight dip at Atco's shut down area and you know you're going fast when you bottom out and send sparks flying while trying to slow down
There was another C5 there last night running VERY solid 9 sec numbers but I'll let the owner post it himself. I was impressed with how that car performed.
Huge thanks to Cartek and Neverlift again. The car pulls like a raped ape and hooks and handles beautifully. I could not have asked for a better combination. You can drive the car with two fingers.
I know the next question so I'll answer it now. No, we're not running at max boost yet. Saving that for the real cool weather.
Oh, btw, the last two runs were made back to back because the staging lanes were closing. So I ran the 8.82 pass, got back into the lanes, 10 minutes later they called my lane again and I backed it up with a 8.76. How's THAT for reliability?

Brent has video so I'll post as soon as I get it.

Great runs Paul. Bring on the COOL temps. I do not know very much about your car so I must ask what tranny and differential are you using to make so many great runs and not break? I don't think our factory independant rear's would do what you are doing. Thanks and continued good luck.

Great times and consistency
I don't know if you have shared this info yet but what boost are you running? What is the max boost that you plan on running in the cold weather? What times are you hoping to get out of it?
It's gotta be one helluva ride

Thanks for the props, boys. Much appreciated.
Rat, I run a 12 bolt solid rear and a powerglide. Too much breakage with IRS and 6-speed.
Here's the video from last night: 8.76 @ 153
