Damn, I am just trying for 600+ for my setup. I have the DS1C, ECS Alky kit, forged Z06 block, ported heads, LS6 intake ordered to put in my 99. What is the big difference in approx 30 cubic inches of motor? I will not be running nos, so with my six speed in 600 easy to make with all new parts at the rear?
Thanks
Steve
Thanks

I was over 600 with the 382 and a Z06 Cam and some old technology heads along with the Alchy kit. Then I went to AFR 225s and a bigger cam - Doug has specs, and I think something happened to the cats . That took the motor up to 780RWHP. The fogger kit was off an old project several years ago and was up for sale. When it did not sell we put it back in and instead of mixing it with race fuel ECS tapped into the alchy tank they had built for me and thats how we got to where it is today.

Nice mixture, and great #s!!
Does this mean that every time you go into around 4#s of boost and the Alky comes on, given the tune, you'd always have to have enough Nos as well??
Congrats!!

Alchy to the injectors are tied to the nitrous activation switch. The alchy mister comes on when you jump on it.
This is an engine that is 3 years old. The Crank and the rest of the internals were the Lunati forged package. Doug can provide bearings etc. but it pretty much was top of the line back then. My guess is that it will need to be freshened for next year if it does not go boom this year.
Doug - can you post complete specs on the engine?

Alan my engine is a sister to your's with a Callies forged package, 225's and a c/r of 9.4.1. The only difference is in our cams being I'm running a turbo cam.
I know a couple of guys a running a small shot on the same twin package I have to help them spool up.
I know what the meth can do mixed with laughing gas through a fogger as I saw the same set up on a mag package when we went to the track.
I'm running the same clutch as you and have no problems so I want to keep it that way.

One more question: What's keeping the heads glued to this thing??? There has to be some incredible cylinder pressures being built in there!
Gaskets, studs, O-rings???

One thing that has been overlooked in all of this that is worth mentioning. There have been zero problems with the supercharger belt.
ECS made an adjustment to their setup for me and we have put in a lot of hard runs and the belt looks like its new!!!!!! That part of the setup is worth looking into.
