Silly question: can't you get a smaller pulley on the compressor? Or are you looking for the cooling effect of nitrous? Seems like a lot of complexy for 50 ft·lb. Or are you planning on upping it later? I'd bet a water injection system and a smaller pulley would give a better bang for the buck. I might be wrong.

Is that an intercooled or non intercooled, with intercooled I thought you can push more boost.

I think it is more of an issue of the overall dynamic compression. With the natural static compression of the LS6 motor, the Procharger, and a 50hp shot of nitrous I would guess it is getting close to 14:1 dynamic compression level or more. The race gas will definately help with knock retard.

you can advance your timing with higher octane, thus producing more power. I was mixing my own with xylene making ~100 octane and I could add 6-7° of advance over pump gas.

I was running a stock motor... only 4.000 miles on it...without nitrous I was putting out 446rwhp..didnt get a chance to dyno it with nitrous at MTI/Houston... system was not operating... It was tuned by Jason/Owner at MTI...It was very fast.. It ran 11.0x-11.5x depending on traction.. my 60' time ran around 1.8-2.0 so it was definetly a ten second car if I could have hooked it up....but it can really take abuse I would go through a 15lb bottle on Saturday nite and almost finish a second bottle on Sunday... with no issues or heating problems... My car is now at MTI getting a Forged Motor and I am going up to a F1R simply because there is a pesky snake (Viper) in my neighborhood that I want my Shark to eat up...He took me all day in the quarter running deep into the Ten's.... All my buddies think I am crazy for changing my setup because of its power and durability.. it was a perfect street car match with great manners.. I would drive 4-6 hours to different tracks and never turn the engine off just take out my luggage on the pit side of the track and go stage her up and click off impressive low 11 second runs... I hope I am happy with my new setup whenever it is finished. I just hope I dont lose too much reliability because I definetly had that.. I couldnt break it.. Good Luck with Your vette, my Corvette Brother... I am pulling for you!!!!

Alot of folks do not liek Avgas, it burns VERY dry.

On a stock bottom end.

You already make around 535 ish rwhp right?

In my opinion ANY nitrous is goign to move you a good bit over 600 rwhp.

I have seen a good many cars fall apart right aroudn that area.
#7 piston.

I say dont do it.
In fact i detuned my z06 from 540 ish to around 510.

I drive mine pretty hard and at 550-625 there is little room for error.

Let it hit the rev limiter and it just might let go..

You can try it , but you better be ready to buy a new short block.
