It can be done with most stuff in place. Jut remove the catback.
Not too hard but not much fun either. It is never fun when you can't see everything you are trying to bolt together. You have to feel a few things out.
It would be real easy if the tranny and diff were not in the car.

I agree. I put mine in a few weeks ago. Not the most joyous of tasks but it can be done in 4-8 hours depending on your tools and skill. The instructions say to drop the subframe but you don't need to (although it does help quite a bit).

I am no stranger to busted knuckles working on this car. It is a 6 spd, I will just dropp the cross member and leave the tranny in. Thanks for the info...
