Default FOR SALE: 2004 Millennium Yellow Z06

10/26/04 Update: *** VEHICLE IS SOLD! ***
_______________________________

Hi All -

Due to the recent arrival of our new baby (no, not the kind with fixed headlights and a 400 HP LS2!) and my wife not returning to work, I have to sell my 2004 MY Z06. I'm bummed to have to sell it, but it's the right thing for us to do and I hope to find it a good home with a new Corvette enthusiast.

The Z has 2550 miles, chrome wheels, extended warranty to 6 yrs / 48K miles, has been meticulously maintained and garage kept, and has the following minor mods:
- Z06 trunk partition
- Top Down technologies Window Valet
- Yellow Z06 exhaust plate
- Yellow crossed flags door sill decals
- Hood seal

If you or know anyone you know wants to become the proud owner of this fine American icon, please contact me. I'm asking $41,000 and I will pay for transportation to any buyer in the continental 48 states.

More pictures and details on my Z06 can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/fav002/Z06/Z06_For_Sale.html

Are the wheels factory chromes or aftermarket ones ?
And not being very familiar with the 04- Z, do the seats have lumbar adj. like the verts etc. ?

TX. Very interested in your car.

I can go $38K even shipped to Ca. @ your expense, if car checks out as listed after inspection at my expense.
I know it is not what you want, but that is about the limit I can go-
A 2004 Z06 w/ 10k miles just sold on Ebay for $34k even, silver color. Car could certainly of been thrashed, but who knows, and it was only 150 mi. from me here in Ca., but I am really looking at MY and TR only right now, but for 34K I would of seriously
considered it.

I am going to be selling my 02 Vert soon, so I will be on the other end of the deal soon !

Good luck, great car.

zcobra1 - Thanks for your offer. I understand this is a buyer's market right now and there are a bunch of good deals to be had on 'barely used' Vettes. Regarding the 2004 Silver Z you mentioned on EBay, as you said it's hard to compare without knowing the vehicle's history. My take is that my Z's significantly lower miles, premium color, chrome wheels, extended warranty and minor mods make it worth a more than the Z you referred to...how much more is of course open to debate. Would you consider splitting the difference and meeting half way at $40K? If you want to discuss further PM me and we'll chat. Again, thanks for your interest and good luck no matter which Z you get!

Zedder - Ontario is not far away, bring that offer up a bit and you CAN drive it home!

F1_SS - Hey, no question is stupid... The Window Valet allows you to raise and lower the windows from the factory GM key fob. Press the 'unlock' button three times and the windows drop to full down, press the 'lock' button three times and the windows raise to full up. It sound's gimmicky but with the curve of the Vette windows it makes ingress/egress a lot easier when the windows are down, especially when you're in a tight parking spot and can't open the door all the way like in my garage. The once you're out and the door is closed, just close the windows up! IMHO it's a great product. For more info check out their website: http://www.topdowntech.com/

Thanks Vader. Actually, I was in Highland, Michigan last Friday looking at a mint '03 that is for sale and I have a standing offer on it. The person selling it wanted 2 weeks more to let his ad run before he would accept my offer - so I am waiting to see what happens. And to be quite honest, I was scheduled to go back to Clarkston, Michigan tomorrow to look at the black '03 that is on ebay but someone came in at the last minute and went beyond my upper limit (the owner is also a GM employee like you ). I'm in Toronto, so it's only a 4 hour drive.

Give my offer some thought...isn't shipping to CA about $1,500? I have cash in hand and just want a mint car at "winter" pricing. If you care to talk live, drop me an email and I'll give you my 800 number at work to call (no, I'm not a dealer - this car is for me). Thanks, Mark.

Good luck to you Vader, hope it all goes well. I kind of figured you had something in the works. I managed to find me a nice 03 MY for a decent price and if all goes well will pick it up friday. Hope everything works out for you.

I am considering selling my 2004 corvette z06. Its black with modred interior and factory chrome plated wheels. It has 4500 miles, never rain or foul weather. I must admit, if 38K or near is the "winter" value I really cant see letting it go. Is this really the market value?, not being synical just suprised .

Have you heard about the 500 hp, 427 cid, 2800 lb C6 Z06 coming in a few months? Yes - this is market value - get it while you can - prices on C5s are plummeting - and C4s are even worse!

I'm afraid that is where prices are Dodgeboy. I just bought a mint red '03 with 6,030 miles for $34K with some minor extras. I would have bought vader's car if I didn't find the red one first. I'd keep it unless you need the cash.
