FS: 99 triple black convertible, 580 HP, custom stereo, etc
FOR SALE:
580 HP 1999 triple black C5 convertible - loaded, with all options, including 6 spd, passenger power seat, f45, heads up display, dual climate control, etc
54,200 miles (but only 8000 miles w/ the SC)
over $80,000 invested (car + mods + install/tuning costs)
very good condition
Mobil1 synthetic every 2500 miles (religiously)
Strong engine - passed recent leakdown test with flying colors
Never been to the track

reasons for selling: a) wife wants new house and Benz, and b) too many damn speeding tickets since the SC install.
this car is going to be listed on numerous sites. if i don't get any serious interest in the car "as is" by the end of this month, then i'm going to return it to (nearly) stock and sell separately the ATI supercharger w/ gauges - inspected, rebuilt, and certified 2k miles ago by ATI ($4000 obo), stereo ($2000 obo), exhaust (headers, x-pipe, Borla overaxle) ($1000 obo), wheels/tires ($1500 obo), Valentine1 - almost new, w/ latest firmware! ($320 firm), Escort ZR3 ($250 firm), G-Tech Pro Competition ($150 firm), window valet ($80 obo). please don't send me PMs or email just yet about parts - keep an eye on this thread and i'll let you know here if/when i have decided to part it out. also note that initial preference for parts (if car is parted out) will be given to locals. i'm located in Kansas City.

afterwards, i had a busy period at work (120+ hr weeks for about 2 months to get the new version of one of my company's products finished - finished it on August 2) and didn't have time to put it back on the market. since the last time i put it up for sale, the car has gotten the following replaced parts/upgrades: starter, front rotors (cross drilled and slotted), alternator / voltage regulator (old one was good, but replaced it anyway trying to solve electrical issue that was eventually traced to the starter), fuel pump (Lingenfelter high performance pump), fuel filter / fuel pressure regulator (preventative maintenance), serpentine belt (preventative maintenance), cooling fan (the newest upgraded ATI unit), the newest ATI brackets and tensioner, 04 Z06 shocks and sway bars.

i'll sell it without the Enkei wheels, Valentine1, and GTech for $33,500 obo. this car HAS to be sold asap. somebody please make me a reasonable offer.

Thanks for a working with me and I am sure you will miss this one; you have built a great ride indeed.
I got to know the car real well driving it from Kansas to Seattle. All the electronic toys kept me protected several times along the way. Surprisingly good fuel economy (over 30mpg cruising) . . . until we hit Montana. I can't imagine why it dropped there. . . but it soon recovered when we hit Washington state. KC to SEA with only one overnight in Billings Montana – fun trip.
Best of luck finding the right Mercedes for the misses. Speak to you soon.
