Hello Everyone. A friend of mine suggested that I check here to see what's available for a hot ride. I'm swaying between a Corvette or a Camero (preferably 35th Ann) and hopefully in Canada. Just thought though that I would introduce myself and if anyone can offer any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so torn. It seems like everytime I decide I'll get a vette, I see a 35th Ann Camero go by and vice versa. I'm going to be waffling for a long time or I'm just going to have to make a impulse buy.

I would have to suggest the corvette. I just always think of old fat bald men when I think of Camaro's. Nobody kill me it's just the image that comes into my mind.

If you don't know the difference between a Camaro and a Corvette, you deserve a Camaro. I had a '68 and '84 Vette and sold the '84. Decided to buy a new '99 Camaro SS Convertible. Beatiful car. Strong running LS1 engine and real head turner. It wasn't a Vette though. Handled very poorly. I bought a C5 and decided I didn't need the Camaro. Sold it and bought another C5! Buy a Camaro SS and have a hot car. Buy a Vette and you've got a Vette! Good luck in your choice!

Thanx everyone for all the info. I think I have decided to see if I can find a 35th Anniversary Camaro. Not that I don't like Corvette's or anything, just more in my price range. If I can't find one right away I know that theres a Camaro show in Calgary coming up. Thanx again. Of course, keep in mind that I am a woman and I may post next saying that I've decided to get the Corvette.

i was just going through some old bargain finders here and theres a 35th ann for sale in calgary. at least it was for sale i don't see it in last weeks.

I'm new to this forum but I'm from Edmonton too. Imagine that I have to come to a place on the internet to find someone from my own town that is into cars! Funny world we live in. By the way, I'd personally go with the Corvette. I did see a Camaro in the Southern Alberta Bargain Finder a few weeks ago too but not lately. I would imagine that it's been sold already.

Well I checked the Calgary bargain finder for you this week and nothing. I'll keep looking though and let you know if I see anything.

Don't know exactly what your looking for but I have a hot 02' Camaro with extras on it from Hendrick's Motorsports... If you don't know the the name its big time into racing. Its black with tan leather interior. A real eye turner.

You can get a vette for the same price, and it's a better car, so I'd def. recommend the vette...35th anniv is 2002, right? What are they going for? You can get a nice C5 in the 20k range...
