Rare C5s The Pace Car Gets sold for $90000
Saturday John Moss GMs Performance King sold a 98 indy pace car for a record $90000 plus the buyer paid 8% fee total price 97200. What is your take? Is it rare or collectible or valuable or perhaps all three?
Please give me your opinion on this topic.
Thanks,

DUHHHH >> he said John Moss sold it..
Its rare.. alot of guys wont ever say that, they may think it but thats the guys trying to get or wait out for the 2004 Corvettes to drop to 30 grand..
I just say WAIT ON BROTHER!!
the 98 was worth it.
The price of our toys seperates the men from the boys!

[QUOTE Maybe if it was actually one of the pace cars used on the track during the race? :jester [/QUOTE]
I was at the Barrett-Jackson auction where this car was sold. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/aucti....asp?id=177343 One of 3 pace cars built.
If you think that's a lot of $$$$.... see this '86 pace car that sold
for $86,400 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/aucti....asp?id=177349
How about this '67 Shelby for $189,000: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/aucti....asp?id=177029

Cars are worth what some one will pay for them. People get at these auctions and get caught up in the frenzy, people with a lot of money dont care what it cost, they just want it.
