Crazy as it may seem..........I have a 1999 hardtop that I purchased new on Oct 2, 1998. The car is the 2nd or 3rd FRC ever sold and I had it transported to my door in Central Pennsylvania. The car still to this day has never been taken out of the plastic or even registered with the DMV. Car has been stored in a heated garage in a air-tight car jacket with Beverly Hills car cover. Car has been started every 6-weeks and the oil is changed every year. Every precaution has been taken in regards to long term storage. The car is a black/black hardtop (FRC) with 6-speed. This is a great chance to buy a brand new Corvette at a used car price. Will accept any reasonable offer or will trade for a Viper and I'll pay cash. I am not worried about the rubber etc 4 years isn't that long for a machine. Especially if maintained as stated above. My concern is that he never got to enjoy driving the car and it isn't going to be worth much more for it :nonod: That is damn sure a rare find. Not sure where to capitolize on it though.

Noggles, The car sits in a garage with radiant heat and remains 72 degrees year round. Inside the car and hood, I have around 5 or so Damprids to control any mositure. The car wears a Beverly Hills car cover and is then zipped up in a car jacket. From there, I take a vacuum cleaner and suck all the air out of the jacket so the car is in a vacuum per say. No air, no oxygen, no moisture. Believe me, the rubber is fine. Do you use armor all on your tires? If so, you should be concerned. The agents in the stuff will dry out the rubber!!

Also, the car has been started every 6th week, and the fluids are changed every year. The fuel is stabilized and the exhaust is wiped down after ever start to prevent any moisture from entering the bag. Also, I take my shoes off before I get in the interior to start her up... I can take detailed pics when I go home for Christmas vacation next week if anyone is still intrested..

Just to clarify, I am looking for low to mid 30s. I am looking to trade or sell and use the proceeds and no more than an additional 18k to buy a 99 RT-10. I get sick when I think I will likely swallow almost 15 grand without ever getting the enjoyment of taking her for a spin around the block. I am this way with everything I own........ :banghead: I ordered this car back in late 97, and I just can not believe a whole generation passed by without me ever wanting to drive it.
