Is $45,485 a good price for 03 Z06 with 12 Mi?
Ok - ready to buy a new 2003 Z6 (Red) - everything except BSM - 12 miles on meter - with rebate price is $45485 - what do you think? Wait for a lower price? Go with 2004 - car is here and ready to go in Minnesota....tell me that now is the time...
Thanks

With rebate the price is $45,485. Without it would be $48,485 assuming ($3,000 rebate). That's only $4,000 discount. There is about $6,500 profit in the Z06 based on invoice vs. MSRP and the dealer probably paid less than invoice. Therefore I'd say that would be a good price for an '04. You can do better on an '03, I think.

If it is new untitled from a dealer then it seems fair. I paid 46K for a new 03 off the lot. That is about bottom dollar.

Don't let people fool you, that is a great price. I think Maxie Price could beat that, but you would have to travel 1200 miles to buy a 50,000 car. I think I'd eat the extra $1000 I'd save and buy local as you can see what you are buying.

No, that is not a great price at all. I am buying an '04 Z06 for under $43 K. A car with 12 miles from the dealer is a demo that was driven very hard in test drives. Avoid a car like at at all costs. I still have my '02 red Z06 with only 2200 miles that you can own for thousands less. Give me a call (248) 661-1705. Jeff

If you're getting an 04 Z with 0 miles on the clock for $43k, can I have your 02 for $32k? Of course, A car with 2200 miles is probably one that someone has, beat the crap out of it and want's to get rid of it before it breaks.
or heck, just tell me where i can buy 04 Z's with 0 miles for $43k. i'll buy those all day and resell for $45k. heck, i'll open my own Z06 dealership.
and i'll offer $29k for the 02 z06 that has gotten the hell beat out of it for 2200 miles. ;)

Putting my money where my mouth is (refer to my prior post in this thread). I just bought a new 2003 Z06 for about $41,500. See the following calculation that applied to my deal:
$51,000 -- MSRP (approx)
$6,500 -- discount
$3,000 -- rebate

$41,500

I am able to get the cars at GMS less $1000 for Chevy customer loyalty. Don't be envious and pick apart a car with 2200 miles. It is hardly driven let alone beaten up :lolg: Just because I am able to purchase cars new every year doesn't give you the right to comment on something that you certainly have no accurate information to speculate about. I challenge you are anyone reading this to find anything wrong with my car. Obviously you must be the Z06 expert to make such a well informed wise butt foolish statement about a car that you have neither seen or called about. This forum seems to made up of a few well educated Corvette owners like me that love and apprciate its beauty and power. The others on here who foolishly speak of things they certainly know nothing about or dream of owning a car that they cannot afford, or buy with money that they don't have. If you really are a charity case then maybe I will donate this car to you so you may own something for nothing. Then you can tell everyone how much of a beauty you have instead of referring to it as a beater. None of my four cars are beaters, even my Allante that has 113000 miles and is still as beautiful as the day it was built and flown here from Italy. Enough said.

That's great that you can buy a new car every year, a guy like you with small ***** syndrome need one. Too bad you can't buy common sense or a personality, although I got to hand it to you, you do a good job of stroking yourself off, maybe with your ego, and you should buy a convertible so your head can fit in it, but you better hurry up, you're already a year behind (the 04's are out) and you don't want to be caught in a used car do you?
You claim yourself as a well-educated Corvette owner, but I'd guess that you've never so much as changed your own oil in your car. Maybe I misread that and you are well educated and a Corvette owner, if that is the case, go back to school and learn the meaning of the word hypocrite
BTW, well educated needs a - in between (well-educated). Good luck selling your 02, I'd be interested but I don't like red, they are just too common. I'm not trying to get on your case, you just have a bit of attitude and a lot of self praise. Where is the horn-tooter smiley when you need one, oh well

We're running $4,000 off msrp plus $1,000 rebate if you own a cheny or $750 if you own a GM. That's $5,000 savings on a 2004. Fully loaded, the msrp for $52,885. Difference is the 2003 is a year old already & the difference between the price on the 03 you're looking at & our 2004s should be much better than that. That is not a good deal on a 2003.

Putting my money where my mouth is (refer to my prior post in this thread). I just bought a new 2003 Z06 for about $41,500. See the following calculation that applied to my deal:
$51,000 -- MSRP (approx)
$6,500 -- discount
$3,000 -- rebate
--------------------
$41,500
I thought the lowest MSRP on a Z was 52,540? Is there some kind of option you didn't get?

The MSRP on this car is lower than what it is currently because this car was produced in September of 02. There have been 2 or 3 price increases since then. It was a brand new car but apparently had been sitting on the dealer's lot since it was produced. It had 20 miles on it when I purchased it.
