C5 Convertible For Sale - Only 41,000 miles.
Hello. I have a classic 2001 C5 Torch Red Corvette Convertible. I have owned and enjoyed this car over 11 years now. Handles very well, she's fun to drive.
* Has only 41K miles
* Garage kept - second family owned
* CCW 19” Custom Wheels $3k
* Newer (1yr old) Hankook Tires
* Lowered body with Pdfat Coil Overs $3k
* Custom Billy Boat Exhaust System $
* Upgraded X Cross Over Pipe $400
* Upgraded Custom stitched steering wheel
* Upgraded Rotors/Custom painted calipers
* Many extras too numerous to mention
* Clean Original Title in hand
Vehicle is immaculate, everything works in perfect condition. Asking $25,000
I would not be selling her yet my new C8 is being produced, shipped to dealer and picked up this past Saturday (Sadly, I need the garage spot for her).
I do believe, the first person that sees, drives this car will buy it!

Very nice C5 Convertible for someone. Good luck with your new C8. Which color exterior did you order?
You may want to have this moved to the C5 Corvettes For Sale section.

Thank you Michael…
I was just fixing to send a note to a mod as I could not figure out where that C5 sale section was on my cell phone (that’s where all pics were located). Mods kindly move my post as suggested. Thank you 🙏
I ordered the Red Mist metallic , with the tan interior. Goodness I was just reading that post on why I miss my C5 and I’m having mixed feeling on parting with her … I suppose by thinking positively, the next owner will enjoy and care for her as I have is my only consolation 😎

The C5 Convertible does in fact offer you the complete convertible experience, just the windshield. Where what I can see from just the pics alone you have more a targa top feeling/look in the C8 version .Bummer.
Not sure I really like that yet, only time will tell. The horsepower may make up that difference, but chit, I'm not tracking the car, I just want to get from point A to point B enjoy the ride with a younger beaver
Good day Gents

The C5 is really a head turner. You have put alot of expensive upgrades in her. It is quite the head turner. I would think if she probably looks even better in person than photos. It will be interesting to see what is sells for.

Thank you Hammer…
A few hundred either way isn’t a big to do with me, I’d like to find a good home for her.
It’s been a long time, going in twelve years that I purchased her, she had anpprox 30k on her, the dealers initial price was upper twenties back then. After joining the Corvette Forum I learned of the many upgrades, CCW wheels, Coil overs, X pipes, etc. I added over $10k in extras including the red stitching on steering wheel, shifter boot, arm rest etc. Etc many extras too numerous to mention.
Between golfing, the Ranger boat & fishing excursions, weekends cruising the HOG. There where many years where I drove it less than I wanted, thus the only 41K existing miles on her. She’s been a good girl and brought me much joy.
Funny thing is how sentimental my 18 yr old Son Nicholas is about her. I understand it as I feel it myself. As they say, fruit dosent fall far from the tree 🌴

Greetings-
I was talking to a nice young man who had an interest in the CCW, wheels (made a fair offer on them $3K). He was suggesting that if the car had stock wheels it would be more desirable to the public?
Now I understand he desires the CCW's yet could that be a true statement stock vs modified ?
Thank you

Also, this is a very soft, slow market we are in so just be patient. You have some very nice mods that make the C5 even better!!

Thank you Indebt …
Greetings Sir…
Much appreciate your wisdom and informative post. I will certainly keep that in mind.
i don’t plan to do much on my C8 she’ll stand as she sits (radiator guards excluded).
Although I did do the wheels ($4350) on this one too
and that will be all… no if ands or buts

It’s Beautiful day for a C5 top down ride…
Sonia she had to phoneya 😂
Is inquiring if you could take her for a spin in it…
Don’t miss out, there is nothing like opening door and seeing stems like hers climb down into to your new lowered C5 Corvette. Priceless☺️
