1999 FRC with 35k in Socal
Car is in Ventura county CA 93041
Life changes and I think it's best I pass this gem to someone else.
I am the 2nd owner and bought it from a forum member in 2019.
1999 Chevrolet Corvette FRC.
35K ORIGINAL MILES.
6spd manual
LS1, most options except HUD.
Minor mods
01 thin spokes
LMC5
skip shift elim
Billy Boat catback
Proflow air filter housing.
Car runs beautifully, doesn't burn oil, no pops or grinds from trans. Leather is in great shape. All around an amazing low mileage C5.
One spot above driver side running light that PO used touch-up paint (less than an inch). Front parking light lense show surface cracking but no moisture gets in. I can send more pics to include engine, underside and inside trunk area per request. I would replace front tires if I was keeping to enjoy (date code 2001). The rears were replaced with 285 instead of 275. Also, the driver seat has the "rock" and reverse lights are inop.
Price is $14,000!

Clean NY title in hand (car is a CA car it's whole life, I'm just a New Yorker out here)

it will be. They made few FRCs and these will become a collectible Corvette. I’ve been around cars my whole life and I’m right about these things to a degree which is, frankly, alarming. If I’d had the money all those years to snap stuff up I’d have done all right.

Does the coolant temp gauge work?
Does the a/c work properly?
Does the cruise control function properly?
Is the clutch still holding strong?
When was the last time the transmission and differential oil changed?

Does the cruise control function properly? YES
