SOLD 2001 lpe tt z06
For sale, 2001 LPE TT Z06, $27K and willing to consider reasonable, serious offers.
Approx. 12,900 miles
Overall condition 9-9.5/10.
Wheels very clean, no road rash.
Exterior very clean.
Interior very clean.
I have not taken the car to the track, only put on some local and highway miles going to a few car shows and cruising around.
Built by LPE in 2002, then revisited in 2014 by Vengeance Racing when it received a fully built RPM Level 10 4l65 drivetrain with a level 4 Quaife differential, amongst other modifications.
Receipts for the modifications alone total about $60K.
The car was originally built by Lingenfelter at 3,600 miles and the build was refreshed and dyno tuned (640 rwhp, 640 rwtq on 12# of boost) by Vengeance Racing at 7,400 miles in October, 2014. While at Vengeance the car received fresh fluids, new shocks, poly bushing kit, upgraded fuel system, dual nozzle Alky Control system, upgraded valve springs, and they also did the Trunion upgrade with the factory rockers. They also performed the auto swap, upgraded the rear end and installed a 5-point roll bar with removable door bar.
The car has been to the track and ran 10.4 at 135 with an easy foot-braked launch. Leaving on more boost using the 2 step it should go low 10's as is, and has the potential to go 9's turning up the boost slightly. I bought the car from the fourth owner. The second owner had Vengeance perform all of the mods above and beyond the Lingenfelter turbo upgrade.
I have both the LPE and Vengeance invoices to support the work performed on the car.
Lingenfelter Twin turbo package
JE forged pistons and Oliver billet rods
CNC'd LS6 heads with stainless valves
LPE GT2 cam with supporting mods (dual valve springs, Trunion rockers, etc.)
Turbo kit with twin Garrett ball bearing turbos and twin intercoolers
RPM Level X 4L65E automatic transmission with PCS transmission controller, Precision converter
RPM Stage 4 rear, Quaife differential with 3.42 gears
Custom fuel system with LPE pump, Kenne Bell BAP, and 60 lb injectors
Alky Control dual nozzle meth kit
TurboSmart manual boost controller (car is tuned at 13#)
LG Poly Bushing Kit
QA1 Precision Stocker Star adjustable dampers
5-point roll bar
Tinted windows (20%)
Front Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, rear Mickey Thompson drag radials
Factory TI exhaust; GHL Quad Tip exhaust also available
Pfadt trans mount
DTE brace
Dual Catch Cans
Also comes with a spare Alky control pump and about 7-8 gallons of VP M1 methanol (5 gals unopened).
Approx. 12,900 miles

I have had a couple inquiries about the GHL muffler system.
For the time being, I am including the GHL as an option for a prospective buyer of the car.
If the eventual buyer does not want it, then I will put up a separate post for the muffler system.
Thanks for inquiring.

That's a killer Z you have there!
If I might make a suggestion - put the front license plate filler panel back in. If you don't have it, buy one and have it painted if necessary. Your car is way too nice to go without it!

The manual was swapped by the 2nd owner for the Level 10 auto drivetrain, so that is not in my possession.

This looks to be an early conversion with the LPE air bridge. Does it have stainless or cast iron manifolds? I’ve had my LPE tt since 2004 and it’s been very reliable.
