NOT !!! That car was my daily driver for years. Ran like a top when I traded it. If I hadn't stumbled across the FRC I traded it for, I would definately still have it !!! Ask ANYONE that saw that car in person, they would tell you how good it looked amd drove, even after 129K (can't believe I'm still defending my old car :D )

They are asking 19,500 or something like that. The car is practically worn out.
And you know this............how?
There are C5s out there well over 200,000 miles on the original engine/tranny, you know.

Re: 98 Red Coupe For Sale (Noggles)
Noggles I'm a little surprised you didn't get on to C4ForGeeGee for his comment. I think it's a little uncalled for that a forum member would slam another member's vette like that. Both the red coupe and the pewter frcs are very nice Corvettes. I would be happy with either one of them! Please have a little more respect for other forum members.

I have a 2001 dark Bowling Green with Tan Leather and Drop Top  I also have a 1994 White with gray Leather and Dark Lexar top  So If I offended the guy with the Pewter C5, I'm really sorry. I just prefer the Red over the pewter :yesnod:

You need to read the book all corvettes are Red. I am a firm believer that a new c5 could go 250,000 miles with out any major problems. I see ford taurus's all the time do it. I like to think corvette are made a little better then a taurus.

Re: 98 Red Coupe For Sale (MONICA@MAXIEPRICE)
I saw this car and it was the spitting image of mine...
This car was the cleanest car I've seen and I know that Marvin took care of that car. I had to look twice..I couldn't believe it!
This is one sweet, well-maintained car and I agree that the C5 should easily go 250K with no problems...except speeding tickets!
