Custom LPE TT650 Twin turbo 650hp kit
Was 573hp to the wheels on 91 octane at mild 5-7lbs boost for previous owner on current tune
Original registration was in Decatur, Indiana "hmmm...."
The story I have is this is one of the original twin turbo c5 builds Lingenfelter did and it was his daughters car. Obviously I’m trying to verify that, just consider amusing with Decatur, IN registration at this point and part of the lore that I’ve been told). She sold it to a guy in Carson City, Nevada who used it for racing and installed the full race cage. Then another guy in Nevada who used it for mix of street ride and some hill climb races.
Shows no signs of drivetrain wear or needing any sort of rebuild
Well sorted and tough.
A previous owner talked with John Lingenfelter years back before he passed away about this kit some of you already know and love and John said it was capable of 700-750hp to the wheels if someone wanted to bump the power up
More misc:
- Info on the TT650 lingenfelter kit specs: (http://www.lingenfelter.com/images/LPE_Corvettep.pdf)
- Kenne bell boost-a-pump
- Two Garrett turbochargers
- Lingenfelter Twin intercoolers
- Upgraded oil cooler Corsa stainless steel exhaust
- Forged pistons, rods, roller cam, ported heads from LPE
- No details on transmission except for Tick performance quick bleed
- Air/fuel gauge on dash
- MSD 2-step ignition
- Penske racing shocks fully adjustable
- Baer brakes
- Poly bushings
- Cobra Monaco racing seats
- Hoosier drag radials in back
- Full NASA ST2 roll cage
- Race fuel cell
- 5 point harness
- Quick release steering wheel
- Was certified in the past but nothing current
- ~2600 lbs race weight Lexan front windshield

More misc:
- Set to race or wild street/strip. Could be converted back if someone didn’t see value in the expensive $10k cage. At this price point, would be worth considering imo.
- Was a mix of street car and did a few hill races in the past(Pikes Peak, Virginia City)
- Was up to 213mph in the Pony Express Race by former owner
- Had been sitting for around a year waiting to go to donor car slaughter house until I bought it
- One of the early TT LPE stage II builds (could have forged crank, don’t know)
- Borescope I had done shows the forged pistons
- Can’t verify exact cam specs of course but idles like a gentleman until you get on it

What would be needed to make ‘normal street car’:
Front windshield if you wanted to get rid of the lexan - $600 (non-hud, with new moldings)
Black c5 interior carpet kit - $230 - OEM black c5 carpet kit for $180+50shipping (http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-04-C5-Cor...dYklQz&vxp=mtr)
Stock seats or other seats of your choice
Stock steering wheel
Included with sale:
Dashboard
All interior trim pieces
Windshield wipers
Full size stock c5 black doors with all the hardware etc
Not currently registered.
Still street legal.
Has a clean nevada title
Clearly not stock. If you want to remove the full ST2 roll cage that cost someone $XX,000 to install, you’re welcome to do that to get a cheap well sorted bulletproof street beast.

To someone asking if this is a true Lingenfelter twin turbo. Short answer: To the best of my knowledge it is but I priced it according to what if functionally is (very well sorted clean title twin turbo c5 with 15k miles) as I can't verify every detail
Long answer:
Q: Is it a true Lingenfelter twin turbo?
A: As far as I know it is but with these honest caveats which is also why the price is the low price. No paperwork from the last signed title owner in Nevada and we can’t get ahold of the guy who he bought it from in Carson City. My speedshop in LA American Heritage checked the race car out and gave it a thorough rundown. Borescope to check the pistons out in addition to looking over all the other specs without completely tearing down the entire engine and tranny. Looked good, runs good, matches all specs we can find on Lingenfelter TT650 build in addition to being sold to me as a Lingenfelter (although if I found out different I would be honest with the next owner)...
Original carfax shows car was registered in Decatur, IN. Gave Lingenfelter a call in Decatur, Indiana and their customer service guy doesn't have a record of doing this car (if it was truly one of the earliest kits Lingenfelter did in 2000-2002 when we was developing the kit , that could make sense that newbie customer service guy can’t find it imo).
//Note: I made this call before remembering that I had a car number from the underhood badge - will give them a call back with that new info.//
Annoying but is what it is... sending a fedex letter to Lingenfelter’s daughter at 21st century muscle cars to try to contact although when she had the car it had no cage, lexan, etc. so might be hard to verify unless she has old vin records or some secret etchings, etc on the body. I suppose she could at least remembering that she sold it and it went to a guy in nevada. If I get verification and paperwork, I’ll raise the price
I'm pricing the car according to what it visually and functionally is rather than the Lingenfelter name would carry as a pricetag premium due to the lack of paperwork. It runs like a beast and has low miles etc

More many more photos available for serious potential buyers. Don't want to bury this thread with them all though so I'll leave it at that.
Can setup appointments to view during business hours in LA area for serious buyers. My personal schedule is slammed going on more slammed though as a heads up.

Forum PMs are best for contacting me for serious parties although I'll of course check this thread periodically too.
Would like to get it sold fast to deal with some family stuff.

From what I know, shouldn't have issues with temps
Planning to get some photos of suspension for another guy who requested them and will post them up here too when I can

Here's one of the early articles on Lingenfelters twin turbo TT650 kits: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/chevr...-lingenfelter/
10.8 @133
Lingenfelter got up to 226mph in early builds and eventually (can’t find article) over 230mph for top speed on these setups

Took a few suspension photos.
Penske fully adjustable racing shocks.
I think this is a set similar to this LPE package offered here: http://www.lingenfelter.com/product/...l#.WREHVlPyuGQ
$3k new, everything you could want for racing
