FS: 1999 Corvette Coupe - MT - Navy Blue Metallic - $14,500 [PRICE DROP] [CT]
I just had a baby so it's time to move on from my 1999 Chevy Corvette. The car is in great shape with Navy Blue Metallic exterior and tan leather interior. 6 speed manual transmission. C6-style chrome wheels.
The car is located in Southington, CT with 73k miles. I'm asking $16,500.
Some of the options include:
- 6 speed manual trans
- body color removable targa top
- dual power seats
- heads up display
- dual zone climate control
- standard suspension (this was an important option for me as opposed to the problematic magnetic suspension)
- Bose Sound
The car is 100% stock - except for tinted windows, air intake and C6-style wheels. The LS1 is healthy and smooth and still regularly gets 30+ mpg on the highway if you're easy on the gas pedal. The transmission shifts great.
Of course, it has some of the common C5 issues. The targa seals are getting old and leak slightly in rain. This hasn't been a problem for me because the car is always garaged and rarely gets caught in wet weather. The traction control / abs light also comes on sporadically. [Edit: Fixed traction control / abs light by replacing front left hub / wheel speed sensor].
Love this car, but selling because a two-seat coupe no longer makes sense with my family. Selling because we just had a baby and want to get a sedan that can fit a car seat. Would consider trades for e39 M5, CTS-V, e36 M3 sedan or other rear drive sedan with manual transmission.
Asking $16,500 OBO. Thanks for looking.

Bump - price drop to $14,500!!
I went through the car this weekend. Did some preventative maintenance and replaced all pulleys and belts. Performed the LM-5 steering column lock fix to get rid of the blinking steering column light and replaced a faulty oil pressure sender. The car is running great.
