Default Is this a good deal?

Hello,

I found a one owner 2000 pewter coupe. The car is equipped with the following options:

black interior
6 speed
HUD
traction control
adj. ride control
power seats (no memory)
Bose AM/FM/CD
adj. steering column
dual roof panels
chrome polished wheels
good tread on tires
steering column lock and shift skip elminators installed
32,000 easy miles

The car has always been garaged, and is in excellent condition inside and out. Asking price is $32000.00

Mileage is a little high, but all service records are available. Oil changes have always been done with synthetic oil. I am thinking of making an offer tomorrow, so any comments would be appreicated.

Thanks. :D

Jeff,

Punchy's post for his vette is: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=366126

Although his price is great for an 02, his is an auto - base model and does not have the options the vette you are looking at does.

My opinion on your deal - Good, not great, but good. If it makes you happy and you've checked it out - go for it. One thing you didn't mention is what date it was originally sold as that will determine if it is still under warranty which is a big plus IMHO.

Good luck

i agree - that is a good deal. not wholesale, but better than most retail buyers can do on 2000 coupes right now. but do check out the warranty in-service date - you will need the vin to check that. good luck:)

Thanks for the replies. The car is still under warranty, but only for a few more months. I might consider extending it, depending on the cost. Also, I am hoping to get the price of the car down around $30K.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

TIA :)
