The car is a black/gray, auto with 3:42's and a yank stall. It has 15.000 miles and CCW wheels. It is a LPE special 550 +++ package. It has a upgraded fuel system and a boost controller.
The car has run 10.3's @ 135 mph
The reason for selling is I need the money to start a new record label.
I hope to get another LPE TT Vette by next spring.
The car is awesome and the boost controller works great.

Re: 2000 LPE TT (96 Collector Edition)
Finally a LPE TT 4 sale post that is believable.. :D
I guess its not a bad deal concidering that LPE has at least a 3 month wait.
How many miles are on the actual turbo system?
:D

Re: 2000 LPE TT (dvandentop)
I will try and take some pics and put them up this weeked.
LPE gives a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty. I got the car back on OCT 4 2001.
IT had 12,000 miles and now has 15,000.
This car is very very fast and u never have to fill up a bottle(N.O.S). :yesnod:

Re: 2000 LPE TT (O-Ace)
Guys,
I know that car very well.. I wake up each day and look at it across the street. The Car is extremely clean and is very well maintained.
The car is baby'd way to much in my opinion.. As I try to race it each day on the way to the gym. DJ one of these days you'll show me what its really got.. :smash:
Anyway... Whoever is interested in this ride... I seriously recommend it..
I bought DJ's last C5.. the doug rippie car...
X

Re: 2000 LPE TT (over 600rwhp (DJ Self)
I had the opportunity to meet this car and driver at a Vette Drag racing event at Maryland International Raceway. As I reached tech inspection the buzz word was there was a guy here with a C5 that was running 10's. At first I found that hard to believe then as fate would have it I lined up against him in my 422. The only part of the race I won was the tree. He came by me before the 1/8 mile and keep pulling away to a 10.5@13Xmph.
His car is both fast and well kept. I know he recently got it back from Lingenfelter with even more improvements. If you want a super fast car (LPE) in excellent shape this a bargain.
Best wishes to DJ and the happy new owner.

Hey DJ,
I am in the process of selling my car. Afterwhich I would be interested in buying yours. I have a friend who inquired about boost controllers with Tim at LPE but he didn't get a complete answer. Besides the fuel system upgrade and programing differences where there any other modifications done to the block or cylinder heads. What fuel do you run with these 3 settings. I assume pump gas on the first 2 settings and 100 octane on the third? When you run 10.30s at 135 what tire/wheel combo are you using on the front and rear? Do you have a different set of wheels and tires for the track? If so, are they included with the car at this price? Thanks

Re: 2000 LPE TT (mario595)
I have head work /cam/and ported LS6 intake. I do not know if they do anything to the block.
I know they do take the whole motor out and make sure every thing is good.
Yes a 100 octane on third boost setting. I drive it with Nitto or BFG tires.
With the Nittos it has run 10.5's@135mph. I do not change the wheels if I go to the track. This is how the wife drives it to work. :yesnod:
John L. put ET streets on it and ran a 10.3 @135 mph.
I dont drive my cars hard. I babby it off the line at the track and still run 10.5-10.6's(60ft 1.7-1.8's......The car is fast for a every day driver. :smash:
