1999 Nassau Blue FRC (Z51-Manual) 69.6K miles for sale
1999 Nassau Blue Fixed Roof Coupe (Z51 Package)-Title in Hand
69,600 Miles. Now at 70,001 miles. (10 November 2014)
Asking $16,250 OBO.
Located in Ridgecrest, CA.
Sorry guys, not interested in trades.
Modifications: Borla Stingers Catback exhaust, TSW Interlagos 18/19 Wheels, C6 Z06 Shifter Assembly, Speakers, Amp and hidden Subwoofer.
Two owner car. I purchased the car in San Diego in 2008 when the car had 29,000 miles on it. I have the maintenance and upgrades record since then. I am selling because I have a baby on the way (any day now ) (10 November: Baby is here for the long haul )and I need something to haul the baby in. I loved this car and I hope it goes to a good home. The car has been located in the dry conditions of Southern California for all 15 years.
Exterior: 8/10
The paint has held up well over the years as I took pride in polishing and waxing the car. The rocker panels have rock chips as you would expect. The front end is in excellent shape as I had the front bumper replaced back in 2011 (reported to insurance, on carfax). The painting of the bumper was blended with the hood and the front quarter panels and I feel like the auto-shop did a phenomenal job with matching the flake with the rest of the car. I was there for the process and was very happy with the results. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. The Borla Stingers exhaust sounds awesome. I also have the stock catback exhaust if you would rather have that.
Wheels and Tires: 9/10
The Hankook Ventus V-12 tires have approximately 10,000 miles on them. I have locking lug nuts and have used wheel polish for the TSWs since I’ve purchased the wheels. Two center caps have the clear coat peeling.
Interior: 8/10
All gauges, buttons, lights and moving parts work flawlessly. The dash and door panels look great. Driver’s side seat has some stitching that has failed in the side bolster. Passenger seat also shows wear. All the speakers were replaced in 2011 and an amp with a subwoofer was installed in 2012. The upgrade in sound has been nice. The C6 Z06 shifter assembly was a great modification for shorter more precise shifts.
Mechanical: 9/10
This corvette runs like a champion. Entire air-conditioning system replaced at 68,000 miles in February 2014. Brand new OEM compressor was used for this replacement. Brand new water pump with a 160-degree thermostat was installed at same time as preventative maintenance as removing the water pump is a required step in replacing the A/C system. Brand new drive belts were also installed. New rotors and HPS brake pads were installed at 69,000 miles in April 2014 for the front of the car. Front calipers were rebuilt with new gaskets and bolts. Motul 600 brake fluid was used. Rear HPS pads and rotors have plenty of life left.

Any performance mods (headers, etc.) done to your car? Beautiful FRC, rare color. I owned a 2000 for about 9 years & really miss it. I wish I could come look at your car but VA to CA is a little too far.

I was in Ridgecrest on business and stopped by to take a look at this beautiful FRC. It is one of the cleanest used cars I have ever seen. The owner has taken meticulous care from both a mechanical and appearance standpoint. The Nassau Blue is IMO the best looking color on the FRC, and the paint looks gorgeous. I was hoping to trade my "family" car plus cash, but the owner was not interested. Best of luck with selling, your car is awesome!
