SOLD: 2000 Artic White Corvette FRC
Name: Adam
Location: Lexington, KY
Contact: 513-283-4732 (Cell)
Price: $18,500.00
Miles: 96,7XX
Car for sale is 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. Car is Artic White exterior. Fixed Roof Coupe.
For those that don't know, ALL FRC's are equipped with black interior, 6 speed manuals, and Z-51 suspension. This particular car is also equipped with HUD, Bose Stereo, Dual Zone Climate.
I purchased this car on May 25, 2009 in Birgmingham, AL with 65,000 miles. Car is accident free, clean carfax and clean title. Title is in hand with no lien present. I purchased the car when it was stock with the exception of C5 Z06 wheels.
The additions that I have done to the car since I have owned it are:
- Lowered on stock bolts. I have aftermarket lowering bolts that I will give to the new owner if so desired.
- Chrome Reproduction C5 Z06 wheels. Fronts are 18x9.5, rears are 18x10.5.
- All four wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich KDW2's. Easily 75+% of treadlife left.
- C6 Z06 shocks on all four corners.
- Drilled and slotted GM Performance rotors with Hawk Pads
- LS7 Clutch and Flywheel
- LS6 Slave Cylinder with remote bleeder
- C6 Z06 shifter with large ball shifter ****
- Texas Speed Longtubes
- Magnaflow X-Pipe
- Magnaflow Axle Back
- Texas Speed 228R Cam (.228/.228 .588/.588 112LSA)
- Texas Speed Hardened Pushrods
- PRC Beehive Springs
- LS6 Intake Manifold
- Vararam Cold Air Intake
The car drives phenominally. I have changed the oil religiously with Mobil 1. In 2012, I had the rear axle seals replaced, the rear differential seal replaced, and the coolant temperature sensor replaced. Reason for replacement was all three items began to leak or show signs of leaking. All work was done by Race Proven Performance in Harrodsburg, KY. This was also where the camshaft and springs were installed.
I have also religiously kept a coat of Zaino wax on the car. Many of the local guys know how clean the inside and outside of the car is kept. I don't drive the car in the rain and it stays garage kept. No rips on the leather which you will see in the pictures. I also have the original window sticker and build sheet that have been laminated.
A few things that I want to point out, which will be see in pictures, are the THREE flaws the car has. One is the crack in the hood where Texas Speed sent me the wrong dipstick and when I shut my hood the first time, it cracked my hood. As you will notice, I have grinded the dipstick down so that it won't touch any longer. Second thing is a scuff on the rear bumper. This was present when I purchased the car so I am not sure how it happened. Third, is a chip on the driver door at the very bottom. This was also present when I purchased the car but is very hard to see.
The only thing that the car will need in the near future will be to have the brake fluid flushed, it could to have the clutch bleed real well, and springs will need to be replaced in the near future. This could also allow a potential buyer to upgrade the camshaft and springs at the same time!
Power: Car was tuned by James Short at Shortuning. Car made 356whp/347wtq. On the current tires and the exact setup, it has been a best time of 12.24@118. I have made roughly 15 passes at the track in this car.
I think that pretty well sums the car up. I do want to leave off with saying that I do not have to sell this car, I am not in a bind. I am not interested in trading for ANYTHING. I want cash. There will be absolutely no joy rides.
Here are quite a few pictures of the car!!!! Enjoy and thanks for you interest! Feel free to PM me or call or text me. I will be happy to send any additional pictures at request as well.

They don't necessarily need to be replaced, but I have always heard that it's a good idea to change them around 20K miles. Cam has 18K miles on it. That's the only reason. No valve float or anytbing though, car still runs great!
Thank you for interest!

Arctic white FRC's look great. FRC seats look so much better than Z06 IMOP. Considering the miles, the driver seat is in very good shape.
Might show off the best part, a full side shot.
