Clean Carfax (never wrecked) Clean GA Title in hand - located in Atlanta, GA
Ok, first off this is killing me to do. Those of you that have followed my thread know how much I love this car and how well I take care of it. My wife and I recently went through IVF to have a baby. Well, it worked. A little too well. We are having triplets. With that said, the car is paid off, clean title, and I do not need to sell it. I want to sell it just for practicality reasons. I bought the car in January 2014 from a guy in Indiana. I flew up and drove it home. The car has always been garaged and has never been tracked or abused. I have added lots of upgrades and modifications to the car since I brought it home. I'll cover most of those here in this thread. You can also check out my mod thread and YouTube links that I'll post at the bottom of this. I'm a firm believer in being completely honest about the condition and details of the car. I demanded it when I bought it and I would expect you to do the same from me. It was not a daily driver, only driven as time allows.
The car was 100% stock when I bought it. Here are some of the upgrades I have done:
Engine/Suspension/Performance
-Corsa cat back exhaust w/ quad tips
-Corsa X pipe
-Vararam ram air system w/ Power Duct
-CCA catch can
-90mm ported/polished throttle body
-CAGS skip shift eliminator
-Z51 sway bars (front and rear)
-metal end links
-Z06 shocks
-slotted and cross drilled rotors w/ brand new pads
-Hurst short throw shifter w/ C6 shift **** and C6 box
-anti-venom mod
-throttle body bypass
-160* thermostat (not installed)
-GM red wire spark plug wires (new, not installed)
Exterior
-C6 staggered polished wheels 19/18 with rear adapters and locking lugs
-halo wrapped in black vinyl
-red brake calipers
-removed body side moldings (BSMs)
-9 piece blackout kit (tails, fogs, reverse, 3rd brake light)
-stainless steel screw upgrade to all exterior body panel screws
-rear exhaust enhancer plate
-Z06 front screens
-screen kits for front brake inlets and side coves
-front lettering inserts (black)
-rear lettering inserts (black/reflective)
-hood seal
-white LED reverse/tag lights
-HID headlights (not installed)
Interior
-HUD installed
-20% tint sides and rear / 35% tint windshield
-red LED light conversion for cluster and all interior panels
-brand new Lloyd's floor mats with C5 logo
-bezel rings in instrument cluster
-white LED upgrades for all other lamps (mirror, foot wells, cargo, etc)
-Clarion CZ702 head unit (bluetooth and integrated phone)
-Infinity 6032cf door and rear speakers
-Infinity 10" sub (dual voice coil)
-Double D Mods stealth box for sub
-Zed Leviathan 6 channel amp
-padded center console cover w/ logo
-new leather shift/e-brake boots w/ red stitching
-30% interior coverage with sound deadener
-100% coverage frost king insulation mod (2 layers in most spots)
-100% reflectix insulation
-dual cup holder added
-pro clip phone mount
-padded shade insert for glass top
-dash letter inserts (silver)
Maintenance/Repairs
-recently changed oil, trans, rear diff fluids (all Mobil 1 synthetic)
-new clutch and brake fluid (synthetic)
-new coolant fluid with new upper and lower radiator hoses
-new tensioner and idler pulley
-AC recently charged
-new fuel filter
-LMC5 column unlocker
-new ambient air temp sensor
-ALWAYS run premium gas and add Techron supplement monthly
This list is still not everything. There's other stuff I've added and fixed that I can't remember right now. The interior is 9/10. I fixed the driver bolster seat foam before it broke through the leather. The exterior is 8.5/10. There are scrapes under the nose from where owners have pulled too far over a curb through the years. They aren't visible from the top. There are minor rock chips (very minor) on the nose that's common to all C5s. The driver side rocker panel has a scrape on the underside where the previous owner misjudged his clearance. Again, not visible from the top. The overall condition of the paint is amazing considering it's 16 years old. I attribute this to always being garaged and well cared for. Currently the DIC is not displaying info. It did this when I bought this cluster (from adding the HUD) and I took it to be repaired. The shop popped it open and fixed the connection in 2 minutes. They did not even charge me. I removed the cluster to add the bezel rings and red LEDs. Once I reinstalled the cluster the DIC was out. I am fairly certain I just have another loose connection inside as nothing was damaged. It should be an easy fix just like before.
Aside from that (and that's really a non issue) there is NOTHING wrong with the car. It runs and drives perfectly. Pulls hard and handles like it's on rails due to the upgrades. I've never beaten on the car. Hell, I've never once done a burnout or peeled the tires. Forum members DaddyRama (Dave) and AdriansFRC (Adrian) have both seen the car in person and can verify it is what I say it is. I'm asking $16,900 obo. I'm open to all reasonable offers and am available 24/7 to discuss it. I supervise the overnight shift with our Department so I work 2230-0730 so I'm always up late. I sleep during the day. Remember, I don't "need" to sell it and actually my wife is asking me not to. I'm just trying to do the responsible thing.

Well...first off, CONGRATS Daddy!!!
NEVER saw this coming ...with your epic mod threads, I assumed your C5 with be with you a long time.
Things change, that I understand. But, I agree with your wife - keep the car (if you can). I don't think you will ever regret keeping it...and if things get tight later and you need to...sell it then. After all your blood, sweat and tears - I would hate to see you sell it only to regret it later.
But, if you decide to go forward..GLWS!
Somebody is gonna get a really sweet C5 with all the work already done!
I wish you and your wife well with the triplets!

Thanks bro!! Between looking for a new house and a much bigger car I could use the money. Honestly I can't see getting time to drive or enjoy it. Hopefully she can go to a good home.

Great car. Congratulations on the upcoming additions to your family.
You are making the right choice for now.
Good luck with the sale. Someone will get a very sweet ride.

Holy crap!! Triplets? All at once? I have 3 and the oldest is just about 16 and she wants a Porsche 911 for her first car. Can't imagine having all 3 at the same time.
Good luck with the kiddies and with the sale. Kids are way more fun than the car. That being said, wish I was in a position to pick it up as it looks great.

I still think you should keep it since its paid for. Get Haggerty insurance on her and it will cost next to nothing. Store it in your garage and you can take each of the kiddies out for one on one daddy time. Its going to be no fun going on date night in your minivan.
