FS: '04 Commemorative Z06, $35K obo
Like the title says its a '04 Commemorative Z06, but it has 9,500 miles on the clock. I do drive it occasionally so it will go up a bit. The car is currently in FL with me, but will be going into storage around October. I'm still AD Military so the car has to be stored when I leave. If the weather ever clears here in FL I will get some pix up. Thanks for the interest.

looks like a very nice car, dont know if it will help but you can determine your build number via your vin number on Corvetteauctioncenter's website. they made 2025 of the Z16's... Mine is #1700

I think the reason are you not getting any interest is the price. Unless you are a collector, there is not much difference between a standard 04' and the Comm. Ed. 04's.
We are also half way into summer already. I get the miles are low, but all 04's I have seen that are priced $30K and up are not moving.
I have been looking at an 03' blue one at a dealer in LA area with 9K miles, but they won't budge from $30K. It has been sitting for 90+ days now.
They reality is $27Kish Also, if you blue book them both KBB and auction prices, they are worth a lot less than what you're asking.
Who wants to buy a 10+ year old car and loss $5K+ right after purchase. You can find 10' and 11' GS's in that price range.
Being in FL doesn't help either, the humidity there is hell on cars, especially the HVAC systems. Ask me how I know.
Just saying...

I understand the location, but this car has spent all its life in Pa, I just brought it out of storage in June and it will be going back to Pa in Oct. If the car doesn't sell before Oct then I will have to wait to list it again.
I appreciate your response. Have a good day.

I fully understand your reasoning, but I'm open to offers. The price says obo. Heck, gotta start somewhere. I'm sure if I had it listed for $30K someone would come back with a silly offer of $25K or something like that.

To echo CGGS' comment, there is another Z16 currently for sale at same price, OBO with just a few more miles, and it has been listed here since June 2013 with no sale. Reality is that the market has simply responded to two new model generations, and 10 years of depreciation, almost regardless of miles or condition and owner attachment. I sincerely wish you good luck with the sale, and thanks for serving!
And let's be honest the Z06 is a niche market to begin with. Those seeking them out know their market value.

I don't disagree with you guys, and I agree its a niche market. I'm in not hurry to sell. Just wanted to put it up on here and see if anyone is looking for one.
Granted, its 10yrs old and there are new models coming out. But, who knows maybe someone on here wants it, maybe not.
Thanks again guys for the responses.
...and I'm proud to serve! You're welcome!

I dont look at it as a 10 year old car or a old car or care if a new one came out. Its a different Generation of corvette... Some guys just want the lasted model to flaunt around, Others are loyal to a certain body style, Engine or generation... I love it, GLWS
