ISO: WTB: 01-04 C5z(specific in my wants)
What I am looking for is pretty specific, I will be ready to buy in the next few months so I figured I would start my search now. I've already found pretty much exactly what I'm looking for but just incase it isn't available when I'm ready to buy, I'm looking for other options ahead of time... So here it goes:
Year:
01: If it has a solid H/C/I package or any combination of the 3 I'm interested(Forced induction works too)
02-04: Prefered for HUD
Miles:
Under 50k is prefered, if its a built motor the body can have more miles, but motor must be under 50k
Color:
Best: Silver/Yellow
Better: Red
good: Black(needs to be super clean, I'm not a huge fan of black)
Power adders:
Best-Procharged
Better-H/C/I
Good-H/C or C/I
Bolt-ons(headers, air-intake, exhaust)
Appearance:
ABSOLUTE MUST: CCWs, after market shifter **** or C6 ****(C5 **** is weird and I don't like how it fits in my hand)
Tinted windows are a plus, not a deal breaker.
Aftermarket seats are also a plus, but again not a deal breaker
Suspension:
Would love to have coilovers, or at least some kind of upgraded suspension, not a deal breaker but a def plus
Brakes:
Upgraded brakes are a plus, not a deal breaker
Deal breakers:
The "flush" aftermarket headlights, yeah the flip ups are ugly but the aftermarket ones are worse
No CCWs, yeah its an odd request, but I think it sets the whole car off
Stock motors, I've built many cars in the past and honestly I'm sick of dumping loads of money into cars, so I'd rather just pay someone thats already had it done.
Must have reciepts of installs for any major work done to car(cam, any F/I)bolt ons I'm not worried about, I wouldn't pay someone to put those on either.
If its on E85, I can't drive it back, no E85 in my area, so it would need a re-tune before I'd purchase it.
Again, I know this is specific, but I have plenty of time and I'm not rushing anything... I've always jumped into cars and not been happy a few months later, so I'm looking for something specific this go-round. As I think of more I'll add or remove things...
Budget is around $25,000, would like to stay under that, but for the right car I am willing to pay the price... I'm stationed in Yuma, AZ, I have to figure in a flight ticket to get the car or shipping, and thats included in my budget...
