Hello gals/guys,
I have been playing with the thought of trading my C5 targa top or a A4 convertible C5.
FOR SELL ONLY $10,000 OBO
My:
2000 Hatch Targa Top
126K miles
Pewter on Pewter
Interior is in great shape
Exterior in good shape, two areas where the clear coat looks funky and one key mark on quarter panel.
6 speed
-Rebuilt transmission with new LuK LS6 clutch, fly wheel, pressure plate
-New reverse lockout unit
-New C6 Z06 shifter Box and Shifter
-New Good Year tires (OEM size)
-MINT!!!!!! Mag wheels, I mean MINT!!!!
-SLP blackwing filter (oem included)
-SLP Loud Mouth
-Z06 FRC
-Taylor Wire (new plugs)
-Lowered on stock bolts
-New Center console
-Ipod / MP3 adaptor
-New water pump and pulleys
-fresh oil change
-slotted rotors up front
-Skip shift bypass
-replaced the seats with "nicer" used ones
-and there little things here and there...
Cons-
-a/c display is out...
-gas level acts funky once in a while
-exterior clear coat issues stated above
-exhaust is LOUD

Sorry, to meet forum rules.
My asking price would be $12,000 firm.
If you have rebuilt a C5 Tranny in CA, you know how much parts and labor are ($2,600) and wheels/tires ($1,500) deduct that from the price and im giving my car away compared to others on here.

Hello,
To answer the question as to why the transmission was rebuilt...Well my car had the infamous reverse grinding and popping out syndrome. Therefore, I had the transmission rebuilt and installed the new clutch and components.
I Will begin to daily driving my corvette, and honestly I prefer to have an automatic while being stuck in Bay Area traffic, that is the only reason why it's for trade or sale.

Just a note,
I appreciate the interest in trading for a convertible however, I have no interest in C4 Corvettes.
They are appealing cars, just not to me. Only looking for a C5 auto and must be convertible.
