Default 2003 Z06 Black, really black, 25K miles, price drop $26,500

Selling my 03 Z, I'm the second owner, bought the car in Jan 05 with about 9000 miles, currently has 25,500. Adult owned always, never raced, or auto crossed, or track days, or what ever.

Paint is a 9.9 out of 10, Zaino since I first got it, minimal stone chips, zero door nicks. I removed the body side moldings (spears), you can take them with the car. I have Lexan covers on the tail lights, have them for the front too, but not installed. Never used the wipers, original windshield washer fluid is in the car still. Obviously no snow or salt.

Interior is a 10 out of 10 with 2008 Z06 seats replacing the junk C5 Z seats. I did the crazy cowboy insulation full kit to help with noise and heat. Interior also has trunk divider, trunk floor kit (covers the holes in the floor). tinted windows.

Performance wise it has a few bolt ons. Borla exhaust (best sounding in my opinion), Bilstien HD shocks all around. Lowered and aligned on stock bolts, Predator tuner, Vararam with foam filter, carbon fiber air bridge. I've done the valve springs and rockers as a precaution with the known bad springs. Antifreeze changed every 3 years, brake fluid just changed, trans and diff have Royal Purple fluids. Oil changed every fall, ~2500 miles.

Car is running an 18/19 set of Cray Scorpion wheels, painted centers with polished lips, with Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires (more modern that the GY Supercars that came on the car).

This is a very nice, always gets compliments on the black paint finish at cruze nights, lightly modded, not beat car that's been cared for and driven by someone who respects the car. Also comes with a Wolf Duststopper fitted car cover.

Looking to get $26,500. There are a lot of cars out there at this price, but none have the better seats. Throw in the exhaust and wheels and tires, and I think that sets the car apart. Some of the pictures are dated, but the car hasn't changed. Located on the east coast, Hartford CT, Springfield MA area.

If only you were on the other side of the country.

I love the RE-11 tires. Mind if I ask what size wheels and RE-11 tires you have on there?

I'll help with shipping the car, shipping is not as expensive as most think.

I think the tires are 275 in front and 305 in rear. I love the tires, they have incredible grip, better in the rain than the SC's, are pretty quiet for a high performance tire. My tire guys are converts, they're recommending, and putting them on other peoples cars pretty frequently.

I appreciate the offer, but after my last experience of buying my previous C6 Z06 sight un-seen, I have a policy of never buying a car that I have not driven again.

One more question about the RE-11's though, if you don't mind...

How would you rate the initial turn-in with the RE-11's compared to the stock goodyears?

I have had the RE-11's on previous cars and know they have a stiff sidewall, but never on a Z06.

I also know the stock goodyear Supercars have a really quick turn-in on the Z06's and was wondering if the RE-11's match that as most other tires don't.

Good luck with your sell.

my GYs were pretty old when I changed tires so it was a night and day difference, not a fair comparison because of the age. Also, I think they're RE11A now, with a higher tread wear rating, think they went from 160 to 220 or something.

Seats look nice. ANY seat is an improvement over stock.
