Default FS: '02 QS Z06 (ACI, CCW, LG, FAST, Corbeau), 45k miles

Mostly a feeler right now as I'm still unsure I even want to let this car go. I absolutely adore this car. It's been my pride and joy for the past 4 years of ownership.

Reason for selling is things are moving up for me and I'm in a great position to afford a C6 Z06.

Asking $25,000 as-is. I do have many brand new uninstalled parts listed below. Those can be negotiated with the sale or I'll sell them separately.

Below is what I have to offer. It's been awhile since I've checked, but I believe I'm the 3rd owner of this 2002 Quicksilver C5 Z06. I bought it in 2010 with 28k on the clock. It currently has 45k. It was all stock when purchased, minus a C6Z shifter, Flowmaster cat-back and a shorty antenna. The car was purchased from a prior forum member, listed for sale here and it just happened to be local to me. It has been properly stored, covered and maintained in my garage every winter. Never seen snow and I've only been caught in light rain a few times.

Maintenance - Oil changed every 3k with factory Mobil 1 5W-30 synthetic. AMSOil transmission and differential (with slip-lock additive) fluids changed at 35k. Clutch fluid regularly changed as well.

Clean and clear title. No accidents, no re-painting, etc.

During the past 4 years of ownership, I've modified the car to fit my personal taste. Modifications as follows:

Engine and Drivetrain:
- Futral Motorsports custom grind cam - 238 / 240 - .600" / .600" - 112 LSA + 2
- Comp 921 valve springs
- Titanium retainers, Cloyes timing chain and other necessary cam upgrade parts
- LG Super Pro headers and 3" x 2.5" X-pipe
- GHL Bullet cat-back exhaust
- Ported FAST 92mm intake and LS2 90mm throttle body
- Vararam CAI
- West Coast Corvette air bridge
- Mantic ER2 clutch
- Prothane Shooter torque tube polyurethane couplers
- BER Motorsports catch can
- Ported oil pump
- 42 lb. Green Top injectors
- Tuned on E85 by Carl at CJ Tunes
- 422whp / 405 wtq. (pre-FAST/TB set-up)

Exterior:
- ACI front lip
- ACI side skirts
- Smoked lights
- Painted brake duct screens
- Painted lower rear fascia

Interior:
- Corbeau A4 microsuede seats
- C6 Z06 shifter
- 20% tint

Wheels and Suspension:
- CCW SP500s - 18x10 / 19x11.5
- C6 front lowering bolts / West Coast Corvette rear bolts

Parts I have awaiting install:
- Brand new C6 Z51 DBA 3000 front and rear rotors
- Brand new C6 Z51 relocation brackets
- Brand new Hawk Ceramic pads
- Brand new Doug Rippie Motorsports stainless steel brake lines
- Brand new Doug Rippie Motorsports valved Bilstein shocks and upgraded poly bushings
- GM T1 powdercoated red sway bars with endlinks
- Brand new VB&P poly sway bar bushings

Brakes - $1,200
Shocks - $425
Sway bars - $500

Most parts were professionally installed by local shops. Doug Rippie Motorsports installed the camshaft and exhaust. One Guys Garage installed the clutch and drivetrain upgrades. I installed the intake set-up. During the modification progress, all tuning was done professionally by CJ Tunes. I have all receipts, invoices and documented maintenance records.

As you can see, this car is in incredible condition even taking into account it's 12 years old now. It's quite the head-turner and I get compliments all across the board nearly every time it's out. Local enthusiasts can't believe how clean this car truly is.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking

Not yet. May end up keeping it unless a tempting offer comes around.

In late April, I installed the brake and suspension upgrades I described late in the first post. You can see the results here:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...installed.html

Today, I just installed brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s front and rear and had the car aligned.

All in I just invested a good $3,500 into it and I was asking $25k before the mods. I'm not expecting to recoup all of it, but like I said - things would have to fall more in my favor to let it go. This car is absolutely unreal now - brakes great, car is absolutely planted to the road in corners, and the tires really inspire confidence. I feel this car is very well-rounded now in all aspects. Engine, trans, suspension, brakes, interior and exterior aesthetics - it's all been upgraded...

Good luck with your sale, the car is beautiful. Great vision on your part to build this awesome looking Vette.

Where is the car located?

Is the car required to run on E85 or do you have a couple of tunes that allow 92-93 pump gas?

Thanks

Thank you very much! 4 years ago it was bone stock so it's definitely come a long way. The journey never truly ends so if I end up keeping it, I still have a lot I'd like to accomplish and if I sell it, I only hope it goes to an appreciative owner who can take that next step with her

I just might! It's going to be really tough for me to let her go...

I'm located just south of Minneapolis, MN.

Right now, the car absolutely needs E85. However, if the new buyer would like to run 91-93 I can easily get it re-tuned for that. I'll just need a few days for my tuner to get it squared away. Won't be an issue at all and would be included with the sale.

Thanks, but I don't have any interest in a truck like that.

At the end of the day, I think I'm keeping her. Almost paid off, then the real fun can begin
