Default Black 2000 FRC Corvette $13k

Here is the link to my craigslist ad. I apologize for not being able to post pictures (I have tried before and can't figure it out) If you guys have any questions feel free to contact me.

http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/4357208218.htm

I am selling my freshly repainted and upgraded 2000 corvette FRC with LS1 and 6spd transmission. Engine has 148xxx miles but runs strong with no noise and good oil pressure. Wheels are stock polished 5 spoke with Michelin Pilot Sport tires with average tread wear. Have only drove it a few times since finishing. Have all pics showing progress and repaint. Car was completely taken apart and every panel was sanded and repainted professionally using Sherwin Williams brand automotive paint and products. The car came from Texas and I personally drove it back to Indiana with no issues! I have a lot of time and money in this car.

New front wheel bearings, front brakes, yellow painted calipers. New Ever start Maxx battery. (Battery has been moved to the rear) Battery relocation kit and Box. New bulbs front and rear. New spark plugs and wires. New radiator hoses. New water pump. PCV hose has also been replaced. Has a TPS motorsports short throw shifter and black Hurst style ball. VaraRam Intake system. Low mileage LS1 Fuel rail painted Red. Intake manifold removed, cleaned and repainted. Gaskets replaced as well. Throttle body removed and cleaned. Front frame section painted with Por15 chassis coat. New Black C5R Depo Headlights. The rear quarter panels are smooth with no side markers. Exhaust is stock from manifolds to the axle. Stock mufflers have been removed for weight savings and deeper rumble (Exhaust dumps behind the axle) Sounds good! The car does throw a few codes; Active handling warming up and low oil level (does NOT leak or burn oil) The interior is clean for the year but does need minor attention. Drivers seat has a small tear and needs new center console and lid. Carpet and dash are in good condition with no cracks or rips. Bose sound system works and sounds great. Title is CLEAN and I have a bank loan on the vehicle. Asking $13,000. Plan on moving soon, make me a fair offer! Price lowered due to paint damage on front bumper and hood. Call or text 765-635-four3seven2. No Trades at all!

Thanks Tuco for uploading a few pics of my car. Bump for update. The car is going to be fixed soon if anyone is holding out due to the front paint damage. Also I am moving to Texas, Conroe area (30 minutes north of Houston) if anyone in Texas is interested as well. Text for a faster response.

Is the car out of alignment or the steering wheel crooked while driving straight?

Just wondering why you have the active handling warming up code. It usually is because the wheel isn't straight when the system runs its initial calibration...or the steering wheel position sensor is bad. You have the original headlights still?

Im pretty sure its just the switch/sensor. When I researched it sounded like it was a fairly common issue. I could reset the code on the dash and drive it about 10 minutes until it would come back on. I don't have any steering or driving issues besides the code. I do not have the original headlights. I didn't care for them and sold them when I purchased the c5r's.

Here is a link a forum member sent me after he had the same issue. See post #18. He said it was a $5 and 15 minute fix.

Por15 frame paint is a first.

Is the vin stamp still present on the original front frame face and Right side rail?

Yeah I didn't want to put any cheap spray can or base coat. I wanted something that will last and offer protection. It looks good too. I didn't know there were vin stamps on the frame rails?

Wouldn't make sense to say take a closer look if I didn't know they were there in the first place haha but I'll check it out
