Bump. I'm looking to purchase by the end of the week. Looking at a few but haven't decided. If you have a Z06 near my price range let me know. All I have to do is go to my credit union and pick up the check, no games here.

Check DC Craigslist, there are a few competitively priced ones in Black, Silver and Red. There is a guy in Ashburn selling a red one with all kinds of mods for only 14.5k. Not sure if it is real tho....

Other than price, not sure if you want a low mile one...The 14.5k has 116,000 miles and the others ar 50-60k miles. There is a black one for 16.9k in Chantilly next to IMA Motorsport (crooked Porsche shop).

I looked at the $14.5k one in Ashburn,
original owner, always garaged, so paint is good.

I passed because of the high mileage, and it was a DD for a while so has been driven in all weather conditions. Definitely not owned by a "waxer". Also some mods that I wasn't really interested in (like water injection).

Does have a very nice custom 4pt cage from Piper. It has a 6pt harness on stock seat for driver, which is a little awkward from a DD point of view.

edit: Don't let the track stuff fool you, he had the intentions of tracking it but never did. I don't think the owner ever drove it above 2500rpm like he said. When we took a test drive he short shifted like crazy. When I took it to ~5k his eyes got wide, LOL.

Thanks for the replies and emails. Sorry for those I did not get back to. Picked up an '02 Z Thursday night. Silver with red interior and 31k miles, 1 owner. Amazing car! I'm hooked.
