Default Ebay low mileage 2000 Z51 6 spd for under 19k

There's a low mileage C5 on Ebay for under 19k

I also saw a 02 Z06 with 45k miles for 20k

Looks like it will be time to get back into a C5 soon.
I think once the C7 comes out, these prices will drop even lower.
Any thoughts?

We're not supposed to post eBay links for others unless it's an interesting or amusing sale.

I personally appreciate the link and yes once the C7 comes out it will make the old vettes even older and prices will drop. Especially, when they realize how much performance you can get from a new stock vette. I think the C6 Z06 will take the biggest hit. Personally, I decided to wait out the new arrival. It is so sexy to me, I might buy a new one if I can get it for MSRP. I think HP is underrated and will be more like 480. If I can get a z51 for under 60k it will be hard for me not to buy one.

grand sport should be the one to take the biggest hit

not sure if c5's will really have all that much of a drop. one reason all but the worst examples have kept above 10k is that no other car offers this level of performance for that money.

45k mile good condition 02 z06 at 20k has been a common selling point for a decent deal for... what? at least 2 years?

the fastest movers from what i've noticed are the 100k mile 2001 coupes for 12k. a well kept car with an affordable entry point.

the 20k+ bracket seems to move slower unless the car is really something. z16, 03 AE vert etc. people pay up for those quick

the basic coupes seem to sit and sit when they come out priced high

I cannot disagree with one thing here.

Default Thanks for the replies so far

Thanks for the replies so far...
IMHO, the C5 is the best bang for the buck when priced right.
I prefer it over the C6 because I like the look better and I fit better.
I'm 6'5" and about 250lb so those extra couple of inches the C5 has make a difference.
Any other opinions on whether or not the prices will noticeably drop on the C5 after the C7 starts selling?

I can't see the c5s taking much of a hit after the c7s come out. If anything it seems as if low mile examples have been increasing in price over the past couple years just because people want the old bodystyle.
