I am debating selling my 02 Z06. This car is an absolute cherry, and is a compete joy to drive and look at. I've owned the car now for 3.5 years (longer than any car I've ever owned) and I have the urge to move into a C6Z.
I purchased this car in the fall of 2010 with 10,285 miles on it. The owner before me owned it at around 3000 miles. This car is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition! It stays covered in my garage and is a toy for me to enjoy.
I had ECS install a SL1500 SC kit last year (approx. 4000 miles), along with a mantic clutch, hardened output shaft, transbrace, valvesprings and gauges. They asked me how I used the car, and said I really didn't need the brace/shaft/and springs, but I insisted upon them to ensure the longevity.

The only issue I have EVER had with this car was a leaky drivers output seal, which ECS repaired long before they did their modifications. The car runs like a TOP.

This is not a race car and it has never been a race car. It is a toy for me. It stays covered in the garage and brought out to play when the weather is perfect.
I have receipts totaling over $31,000 that will go with the car.

That would be a tough car to ship with the splitter and all! Do you have the original seats?

for anyone thinking of shipping, I have no doubt i can ship it safely.
my front bumper is nearly 6.5" off the ground, and the plastic air dam is 3". The splitter and skirts are not currently installed.

My brother just shipped a GS using Horseless Carriage and he had 3" from the ground to his splitter. He had no issues.

I no longer have the stock seats.

Seriously tasteful and perfect mods in my opinion, if it was a few years down the road I'd be jumping on this. Everything I would mod on a z06 is done here, beautiful ride.

How would an out of state buyer get a car like this financed or would it be cash only for someone out of state? I have never bought somthing sight unseen and I dont think my bank would loan me the money, but I dont know! How have others done this? I am interested I would need a loan though.

out of state buyers....don't wait.....buying out of state is just as easy as buyin in state and you get exactly what you want. You can use your bank (they should allow it)...if not use a credit union or capital one auto finance. My credit union or capital one will give you a "blank check" for whatever you want to buy....you buy it and give the title as collateral....easy peeesy. Shipping is just as easy.

i have a possible buyer coming up from Virginia this evening. I will post back if the car is still available.

i've gotten many offers, and alot of interest thus far. I haven't accepted any deposits at this point.

as far as buying out of state, i can provide a copy of the title to the buyer if they need it. I am pretty sure they just want the vin and you are good.
