Default 1998 Corvette Torch Red $8.5K, new price!

1998 Chevy Corvette with a 5.7L 346 LS1 4-spd Auto. Car is the beloved Torch Red with Z06 rims (17s in the front and 18s in the back). Everything works on the car except the car horn.

Car has Dynatech stainless headers with a Corsa stainless exhaust and K&N FIPK cold air intake. Car is fully loaded with lexan targa top, power everything, leather seats still in good condition and Bose sound. Car has new brake rotors and has had the lousy factory LS1 harmonic balancer replaced with a lighter single-piece Powerforce harmonic balancer. Car also has Z06 style screens in the front and side vents as well as LS1 badges (ZR1 clone) and blacked out reverse lights and turn signals.

Car has also had the steering column lock bypass done as well but had tire pressure sensors removed to reduce weight and make way for the Z06 rims. The pop-up headlights have been replaced by Depo stationary headlights. Like all C5s, the paint is still in fair condition. Corvette has 132K+miles. Please email me with any questions. Car is currently located in West Palm Beach, FL. Make me an offer guys. I want this car to go to a good home where it deserves to be. Gotta sell because I need a down payment for a house. Price change is for forums guys since at least I know she's going to a good home!

Email me with any questions @ cpalenzuela@excite.com. I'll be more than happy to send you a pix.

I have no idea. I have not had a chance to test it.

When I was putting in the turn signal blackout panel and stationary headlights, I noticed the passenger's side closeout panel was missing so I'm guessing it probably got wet since this is South Florida and it rains alot. I've since gotten a new closeout panel but still haven't had a chance to test it because of my back injury. I did a while back check fuses and relays and didn't find anything so I'm guess the horn is shorted out or maybe even it's as simple as a loose or faulty connector.

Make a fair offer guys! The 'vette wants a good, vette lovers home to be a part of. It doesn't want to be sold off to some dealer.

It is, no question. I can polish it out with my polisher but if you want it to be perfect it would be best to repaint. C5s just never had the best factory paint jobs. I've had some guys say just wrap it but that'll be for the next owner if he/she pleases.

I've got more pictures on my craigslist ad a few posts above this one.
