asking $25,000 but will consider less if i know it is going to a good home. The car has 60,000 miles on it. It has been garaged kept and has only been a fun weekend car. It is an automatic. Pictures do not do justice for this car. Showed the car many times and won trophies.
also, feel free to contact me on my cell at 916-261-6003

Reason: added info
If you dont mind me asking how much did the head swap improve the performance of the motor. Did you do the cam too? i have a 98 coupe with 38,000 miles on it and i was thinking about doing the head swap and ls6 intake but i really didnt want to go into doing a cam swap. Then you get into having to do a converter swap....... just wondering if doing the heads and intake was worth doing. i have the 3.42 rear too. Thanks for your time bud and good luck with your sale. Thats a beautiful 98!!
sorry, i know nothing about cars..... my bf was the expert with cars..... i just paid for it and drove it and the car turned heads. sorry i could not answer your question. i know a few guys that know my car, i will ask them to answer your question.

Not the old bf but I have driven the car and from what I have experienced this car is quite a bit quicker than my bone stock '01 (not that Shar ever tested that)....no measurable cam lope, so I would say no on that. Hope this helps
I am the previous (2nd) owner of this car. It was an excellent car for me. I would assume Shar would say the same. Was sold with@45k mi. on it,and haven't seen it since except photos.
I did or had most mechanical work you see done to the car from bone stock. I know Shar has every receipt I had for it,plus hers no doubt. Shar has changed the intake from the vararam which I had on it. But I will say this, with that intake it was just as quick as any early stock c-6and pretty close to c5 Z06 performance through an automatic.
337rwhp 342tq through that gearing was pretty darn nice. The baseline before upgrades was 304 rwhp for comparison.
Car still has baby ls1 cam and stock torque convertor to my knowledge. I doubt Shar ever stepped on the gas much
I owned the car for @ 2 years before the c6 came out,and was tired of being underpowered at meets. Mission accomplished for that time WITH reliability and legality in Ca,which was the goal.
The only reason it was ever sold in the first place was wife's medical issues. The car HAD to go. Wish I could buy it back actually, but that won't happen right now. I do miss it though, you will too Shar.
Thanks for the post. I had fun while I had it for 2 1/2 years, things come and things go..... Other priorities in my life right now. Going to buy a house for my daughter....
Hope all is well with your wife. I will let you know when I sell it. Maybe it will make its way back down to your area and will you be able to see it.
Please let me know if you know of anyone that would be interested in it.
They should be noted in the description of the car mods....
If not, let me know and I will do some research..... I get tons of compliments on the rims... they are not cheap.... but they sure do look dam good.....
