Freshly Built C5 Yellow Coupe, St. Louis, 470+whp 60k miles $23.5
Its been a long journey, but its finally done. It is a 2000 Millennium Yellow Corvette Coupe with a 6 speed manual transmission, black interior, heads-up display, sport seats, Clear glass targa top and dual zone climate control. Bought it last summer with 59.5k miles on it as a weekend car. About 750 miles later, it was idling in my shed and a spring retainer broke and dropped a valve into the #1 piston. This was over Thanksgiving of 2011. Took it to Performance by Joe in STL (Joe Donovan) and here is what we put in it. Car currently has 60,700 miles. Interior is in great shape, paint has a few scratches and chips but nothing excessive.
408 lq9 iron block form Texas Speed
Callies forged crank
Eagle forged rods
Wiseco forged pistons with steel upper rings (-2cc dish)
Ls7 double roller timing chain
ARP bolts all throughout motor
Custom catch can (Joe Donovan)
AFR 225 heads (Intake side has been ported)
AFR roller rockers
Chromoly pushrods
Comp Cams custom grind camshaft (.624 lift)
FAST 92mm intake manifold
FAST 60lb injectors
GM 92mm throttle body
MSD Spark Plug wires
SPEC 3+ clutch assembly
GM Billet Steel Flywheel
New Battery
BFG G-force tires installed on rear less than 1000 miles ago
Compression is 10:6:1
Additional Parts installed on car:
LG Long Tube headers
Magnaflow Catted X-pipe
B&B Route 66 cat-back exhaust
LAPD Ram air intake
z06 chrome rims: 17x9 front, 18x10.5 rear
z06 front and rear functional brake ducts
car is lowered approximately 1.5 inches
Drilled and slotted brake rotors
Tinted windows etc.
Got the car back tonight, it made 471.19rwhp and 456.39ft/lb torque, with and amazingly flat torque curve. The pictures speak for themselves. I am asking $23,500.

Looks like a beautiful opportunity for someone. I plan on making my purchase around end of month, if you were either closer, or a few thousand less I'd jump on it. but from what I've seen this looks like a great car for someone.

I can attest to Joe Donovan at PBJ - the guy knows how to tune, and is a perfectionist! He dyno tuned mine as well. GLWS.
Curious as to why you want to sell it after just getting it back? Why not enjoy that bad boy for a while!

The motor I put in was not a whole lot more than the ls1 crate motor, so I built it like this that way in case it doesnt sell I have the motor I want. As to why I'm selling it, I am in college and my main car just got broke into and totaled at Gold's Gym, so I need something more practical and to put some more cash aside as well. Joe is great like you said though, always busy and never leaves that shop, has built some monstrous stuff.
