you're the seller, buyers vote on what is or is not a good deal
would probably go about 14k.
i have discussions with buyers/sellers almost daily and the majority of driver cars sell at edmunds dealer retail. some guys get down to private or trade in which i personally find amazing.
that's private party cash of course. dealers are a different story
in your case that's 14.2k with stock wheels etc. sell your other set for whatever they will fetch and you'll have a decent wad of cash
if you used the forum to get a selling idea...that's hard to do. a large percentage of c5 sellers really don't care if they sell the car or not. they price it above book and see what happens. if you actually want to sell your car it would be time to start talking with potential buyers and collecting offers. if you're actually trying to sell a car and playing let's make a deal with buyers it should take less than a month at the very most.
that said, a lot of c5 action is in low mile mint cars at the moment. figure a 30k mile 2002 Z will go for 20k, 19k on a good deal and guys start thinking, man for a few $$ more i can get this mint like new car. that of course is why wheeling and dealing is a great way to move the higher mile cars
would probably go about 14k.

with the above poster, although i was/am leaning towards a 15K offer for this particular car with the stock wheels (I am fairly local in CT).
Agreed, sell the aftermarket rims separately.
It is a rock and a hard place right now for the '01zs, IMHO.
02s Zs with similar mileage are selling at the 16+ to 17K range. I am considering one down in FL right now, being offered by CF Member OpCode.
Plus not the best time of year to sell....but great time to buy!
Best of luck with the sale!

and this is exactly what a sale should look like. guy offers 14.2, seller counters with 15k. buyer says will you meet in the middle and you either do the 14.6 or hold 15, sellers choice depending on if you'll let the guy walk or not if he refuses

myself and the other other member bantering about price in this thread and what the op said back should help it sell. i know if i was thinking about this car, read the thread and saw it all....i would call in a minute.
having spoken with around half a dozen potential buyers including myself most of us are looking at c6s and the one holdout who was after a c5 made an offer and never heard from the guy again. most of us were not against c5's just didn't want to deal with owners quoting kbb
