Default C5 wanted. New Hampshire/Massachusetts

Last weekend my mint 1997 6sp Torch Red coupe saw its last day. Fortunately no one was injured.

I'm looking to replace it ASAP. Must be 1997-2000, 6 sp, 50-70k miles and without needing any repairs. I have up to a $15k budget for the right car.

Please let me know what you have.

Default C5

I have a torch red 99, mint condition. Needs absolutely nothing. Email me your number and I'll send you the pics. Only issue is that I'm asking 16(+). Well worth it. Who knows, maybe we can work something out. You need to see the pics to see what I'm talking about.
My email is klubey@roadrunner.com

I have a mint '98 torch red/black auto I'd sell. Looking to get into a Z06 right now. The car is loaded with magnesium wheels also...49k miles. But like the poster above me, I'd need more than $16k.
And I'm in Mass. You should come see it, it's a 9.5 on a scale of 1-->10.

Good Luck though
Mark

Fair question. I specified 97-2000 because that seems to fit with my $15k or so budget.
I had a 97 and loved it..... If someone has an 01-04 that meets my other requirements,
I'm all ears!

ah, yes prices are a little different these days. for example, in my area a 54k mile 2002 coupe has an ask of 16k and i really don't think 15k as an offer would be a push. it's a nice garaged example as well.

you have to keep in mind most of the cars you see up forsale for any period of time usually have a reason people aren't buying. it could be price or it could be condition. most the really good deals sell within 2 weeks so you don't really see them sticking around to compare price with.

as the c5 ages, unless you get a deal on a 97-00 car i highly suggest getting an 01 or newer just for the ecbm. it's a real concern on the earlier cars and expensive to fix.

I feel that I got a great deal. I spent more than I planned to, but couldn't pass this one by.
I'll put up a picture or two after the Patriots game.....
